Looking At Getting Around 240rwkw

There have been so many posts but I'm probably more confused then ever.....

This is really for Geea, Peter, Nick and any other Tuners or know-howers.

Primarily, I'm looking at the Edit and wanting around 300FWKW.

To get to RWKW do you loose around 20, 22, 24% as numerous people have told me different figures......

What are my options for mimimul outlay.......?

Will just the Edit give me the power that I want and will it be safe?

Fair question dutchie. We have pm'd and you know I am looking for similar results ( 240-250 rwkw ) but it is still not clear what is needed to achieve this. I am hoping that a cai, filter and edit with custome tune will achieve this. I dont know if anyone can state categorically if it will or wont.

manual and autos are a little different between 20-25%

I think I read in a previous post somewhere from Street Tuner that the power loss from the 6 spd is something like 17%.

As a newbie and not having had anything to do with the Ford stuff, but lots to do with LS1 Edit on my old car, I went straight for the CAPA SCT tuning box. Nothing will work better than editing the factory PCM. Nothing.

My 10 psi flash gave me 51rwkw increase over the stock power level - 209rwkw vs. 260rwkw. All the while retaining stock driveability down low, and a heap of midrange to boot, with the AFR's top end staying at 12:1.

Pretty good imo.

I am the same came from the ls1 side ..and just waited till the capa edit came out ..revcieved thfe edit in the first batch sent out before christmas and just love every min of it ...I run the 10psi with twin exhaust and tomorrow when I rise ..I will be looking at moding thef cai ,not to sure whether to buy a cai or make ..knowing how unhandy I am ,might pay for on e

dosnt matter weather its a 6,5,4 speed 4th is still 1to1
