Guest harp01 Guests Posted 28/03/03 12:28 AM Share Posted 28/03/03 12:28 AM Hi Everyone,Noticed the other day the front bar had drooped. If I hold it just above the driving lamp on both sides and lift, it comes up about 10mm. The gap around the lower edge of the front guards and head lamps closes up when I lift it. Looking closer I found two lugs in the upper air intake opening which appear to have been moulded into the bar to attach it to the front reinforcing rail, but there are no holes drilled to secure it. Anyone noticed the same problem, maybe it was missed on mine in production but I feel it is not right and will start to crack up if not secured by these lugs. Phantom Turbo. Picked up 8th Feb. I thought they fixed this type of crap happening on the EF series??? Obviously NOT!Typical.I'll ask them about it tonight when my damn seat get fixed. Will I ever be happy. My AU III VCT was perfect, the amount of little crappy annoying problems I've had ever since we took delivery of the BA is really starting to get to me!!! The source was a friend of a friend who works for Ford in Qld. Please don't quote me this is what I've heard, but when I heard bumper bar droop and been told of the above if you put two and two tegether there may be some truth in what I have heard.Have you guys been doing in high speed driving (On the track of course)?
