Does any one use their xrt's for work, Tradesman etc...

I really cannot decide wether to upgrade to an xr6t or just go with the trusted bent eight, for pulling power!

I carry around an extra 300kgs in weight every day!

Does anyone carry this sort of weight in their t's?

I know that the T obviously has a lot more potential for extra performance , but as much as I would like to, I really don't think that I would be able to justify spending the extra $$$ on the power mods!

But, that said, if a T was more than suitable for the job, then the extra $$$ saved on the T could be spent on something like a phase 1 aps! :spoton:

Decisions decsions! :spoton:

ashxr..

What you are looking for in a ute I am currently run

T with phase II

300 kilo worth of toolboxes and spares

I prefer to drive the T with the weight in the back ,especially since the Phase I then II...

Without the weight in the back she tends to drift on acceleration quite easily

Couldn't be more happier than a T as a workhorse..Almost makes going to work fun

Just do it you wont regret it :pinch:

What do you need when you want to move a load?.. (Aside from Laxettes Claude)

Yep...You got it...TORQUE.....

What has the T got in plentiful and easy supply?...

Right again........TORQUE......

Now.....without starting another war, I also suggest that the Auto is best placed for pulling heavy loads. Lots of wear on clutch mechanisms with high torque and the physics of momentum when giving movement to heavy loads.

Deano has a work ute "T". It has 334rwkw's and pulls 11.7 @ calder. I reckon that should take care of most loads. :pinch:

Geea.

I'd go the XR8, much better low speed pulling power. Pulls hard out of corners in taller gears, better than the T, just not as fast.

Yeah I think your right rednut, the T would be good but I think that the 8 is prob better option.
