Pontificate doesn't mean masterbate silly, it means talking down on someone in a snobby sort of way, or being dogmatic in your approach. Ie, crapping on about the same bloody thing over and over while trying to abuse someone, all at the same time thinking your the pope, or a high priest.....Maybe I should have looked up dictionary.com first.... 1. the government of the Roman Catholic Church 2. talk in a dogmatic and pompous manner; "The new professor always pontificates" 3. administer a pontifical office I was damn close.... But no donuts for me This post is not an attempt to take away the brilliant usage of this word, but rather attempt to be sort of humorous.... quite a poor attemp.

Not Cubic inch as it was for so many years.I drive a thumping 5.6litre Persuit Ute and it goes like all hell, and nothing sounds as good not even the BA GT.Many a Standard XR6 T has tried but never won although I give the XR6T much more respect on the road than the XR8 and the GT.BUT as good as it sounds and as good as it performs, times change and with so much uncapped power on tap ready to let lose in the F6 its time to move on and go with the new technology. This F6 is incredibly smooth and refined it’s just not an option at this point to stay with the old technology.Mind you a 5.4 litre twin Turbo would be very smooth also and that is where it will go in the future but it will never ever sound the same again.Remember when the first GT’s came out? What a note they had! the 351 thumping down the road and not even the 350 Chev sounded as good, in fact nothing today sounds like the old 351 did in its day and with Turbos’ becoming the norm now it will never be the same.Who would of thought 5years ago that we could buy a stock car from FORD with 3 years warranty and 550nm of torque from a 6 cylinder????????????????No point fighting it anymore Go Buy a T and move on.

I have no hesitation in taking on a MKI GT/GT-P. Even though their quarter mile times are recorded as quickier than my T3 I know for a fact that on the road they don't worry me at any speed or in any road condition. My T3 ultimately has better grip and torque at all the times that it counts. However I am wary of the T6s 'cos you never know what mods have been done - they are a dark horse, and while a standard one is always seen off, a modded one is going to blast me away every time, at least in a straight line The Typhoon with its engine technology and improved chassis dynamics is the way of the future for performance sedans
