back fireing

hows it going guys/gals

just put a exshaut on my xr6t ute

dump pipe back , 3 1/2 inch no middle muffler just a straight though rear muffler

it goes allot harder

but now its back fireing crazy

the engine is no cutting out

only when u cruise it

can any one help plz?

when you are trailling the throttle right, ie just touching it or backing off after a bootful??

You either have a laek in a flange somewhere and fresh oxygen is mixing with hot exh gasses, BOOM or if the system is straight thru enough fresh oxygen will make its way up the tail pipe to the hotter gas coming down and mix and explode

Bit of trail off sounds awesome on the t's though (not as good as on the 8's but meh...).
