October 15, 200422 yr #1 Sure its a great thing to do, but are we going to have a bloody celebration everytime either he or the chucker gets a few more wickets ahead of the other? Potentially, we could see a new world record every time one or the other plays a game of cricket .I'm over it already.
October 15, 200422 yr #2 I'm happy for him- but think about it, how many years does Warne have left in him and how many does Murali? Something tells me that Warne's record won't stand for too long.Bring back the Waugh brothers and Bevo.Anth.

October 15, 200422 yr #7 Gotta love it, remember the first test between the Aussies and the Windies , back in I think 1976 , school excursion for the first days play Those were the good ole days Then off too watch the remaining days on the only colour telly in the neighborhoodGold Jerry Gold ......can still feel the excitement now. Colour Telly and Cricket all at once = overwhelmed
October 15, 200422 yr #8 First test I ever saw was back in Brisbane in the early 90's when it was an OVAL (not the ugly, uncomfortable stadium it is now ) with the old hill and score board and even the figs on the eastern side... Slater and Mark Waugh scored centuries, it was awesome... Dad's first test was in 1948 when Sid Barnes AND Don Bradman noth made 248! Bradman came in AFTER Barnes and got out before.Barnes was so impressed with the innings that when HE reached 248 he popped up and easy catch so that he wouldn't eclipse Bradman's amazing innings on that day!
