they are the same design as the mk1 rims, just that instead of the part on the rims being pushed in, they have been extruded... but makes them very ugly, quite similar to the VZ SS rims... yuck

Saw one yesterday at my friendly spare parts place...

Looks like the standard brake calipers are different too.

Just got something different about their shape.

lol my mate had an outy, then it turned ini on him with about 10kg of beer gut, lol.

I'm Mr.Out tyvm.

And yes, something about those rims just seems to exagerate the size of the wheel arch, and even the size of the car. Or just makes the rim look like its been minaturised. Either way, I don't like it.

I call for standard 18's on all xr's. Rubber prices come down if they are made standard on a high volume selling car (have to make more 18s thus it becomes cheaper to produce).

Hell in that case make 18's standard on every car :sleepystuff:

The new rims look :pinch: it makes the rims look smaller than 17"

Looks like the main MKII Improvements are going to be in performance :sleepystuff:

judging by the fact this car is in predelivery, then it's probabily still got it's suspension blocks in, thus it will sit higher, making the rims look smaller...I think you would find at the proper ride height it will look just as good as a MKI. :pinch:
