Now this has bugger all to do with cars (other than that bad taste still in my mouth) let alone XR6 Turbos but it was such a faith restorer to get great service.

An internal alarm starts going off in the fridge (didn't even know it had one). So I ring Fisher & Paykel who send out 2(!) technicians in a van full of parts and they arrive on time. They connect a hand held computer (to a fridge!) and immediately confirm the fault - a freezer fan that is still working, but slow to start up. So they unpack the food from the fridge, replace the fan and the second fan just in case that develops a fault in the future(!), replace everything in the fridge, clean up the mess they made on the floor, do a download of the updated software while they are here (didn't know fridges had software) and don't charge me anything. All for a $2000 fridge.

Maybe dealing with appreciative female fridge owners all day helps their attitude :censored:, but maybe they just have their :censored: together.

Its good to know they offer great service. I have a F&P fridge, rangehood and dishwasher. No problems, but it is nice to know they can backup their great products with good service. :censored:

So you can log onto fordxr6turbo.com while you're getting a beer of course!

That's a great service story. I have a F&P washing machine and it's great, never missed a beat in the 7 years I've owned it. I certainly will buy another F&P if and when this one gives up the ghost, and probably other F&P appliances if my current ones die. Ford really do have crap customer service.

Why would you have internet hooked up to the fridge, eh?

Why do you have internet at all ... well ... PORN of course!

So, if we follow this line of logic, we have a fridge with internet, and as we've decided, the internet is for porn, so ... 2 + 2 =
