Guest pauly Guests Posted 10/09/04 11:30 AM Posted 10/09/04 11:30 AM I have seen a lot of 2nd hand 2003 xr6ts on the pickles website with around 20,000 kms on them!!! usually $30,000 to $35,000Can anyone give ideas on what to look for in the way of possible problems to look for????I know no.1 is DIFF CLUNK :o can anyone think of anything else???? :o :o

Tyres are a good indicator of how a car has been driven, also check the average fuel consumption, if its like 14 then the car has probarly been driven nice, if its 18 then id be a bit sus.

One thing to watch out for is that you dont get ripped off!! I went to a dealer yesterday to have a look a used XR and I wlked out because the saleman was such a wa*%er!

Possibly the condition they are in wouldn't be as good as a privatley owned on but they are serviced regularly. They are good buys imo

They are good buys imo I agree... the only downside is you cant take em for a spin..... this is the only way to pick the faults such as driveline shunt and gear tizz and diff whine... none of these are dangerous but to some thay can be bloody annoying.... at the price they are going for, I agree with glen that they seem a good buy

It is one nice - and quick family car for teenage children.The VY2 Late model camira that is the work vehicle....Believe me you want the Turbo.
