Most of them are Auto so you wont see diff clunk usually.

Tyres are a good indicator of how a car has been driven, also check the average fuel consumption, if its like 14 then the car has probarly been driven nice, if its 18 then id be a bit sus.

If you are buying a 2003 car its still under NCW so most issues should be covered. One thing to watch out for is that you dont get ripped off!! I went to a dealer yesterday to have a look a used XR and I wlked out because the saleman was such a wa*%er!

They are usually ok, but ex company cars. Possibly the condition they are in wouldn't be as good as a privatley owned on but they are serviced regularly. They are good buys imo

I agree... the only downside is you cant take em for a spin..... this is the only way to pick the faults such as driveline shunt and gear tizz and diff whine... none of these are dangerous but to some thay can be bloody annoying.... at the price they are going for, I agree with glen that they seem a good buy :kissmy:

I am less than convinced on the gov. cars.

My XR6T is paid for by me and has been treated accordingly. It is one nice - and quick family car for teenage children.

The VY2 Late model camira that is the work vehicle....

Believe me you want the Turbo.

it all depends though... Our XR6T is a company car and it is looked after superbly.
