If the team felt that it would be a waste of time they wouldn't have done it...Someone in the team felt that by doing this there must have been a advantage to be made and went to a certain degree of steath to hide the intentions..If they we doing suspension testing then a gain would have been made as they could afford the luxury of changing springs and shocks at there leisure and not be tied to a time constraint....I may be utterly wrong ,,,,but they took a risk and got caught that's the point I was getting at, although they probably didnt gain enough data for the experience to be worth $104,000 they would have still gotten some decent info out of it.Dazza.

There is going to be an appeal on Thursday afternoon. AVE$CO want a bigger fine imposed and TD still reckon they are innocent and were testing for 'scientific purposes'

FPV GTHO Member 118 Member For: 22y 1m 29d Posted 06/10/04 03:35 AM Posted 06/10/04 03:35 AM the thing is though, some people dont think its enough....a fine alone isnt really going to teach them, as much as they play the pauper to the press about it possibly ruining them financially. I saw a thing on RPM about it the other day and that kieran wills must really be kidding himself if a) he thinks that story he gave will be believed and b) people will believe someone that was struggling to pu 2 words together, and after 2 minutes of stuttering had said absolute BS..
