August 5, 200422 yr #1 I just bought a ba xr8 in blueprint and I am new to this forum so excuse my lack of knowledge please. Anyway I was thinking about starting mods to it, but what are some good times to expect from what you guys have achieved so far?PS this is my first decently powered car so I am still quite happy with it even in stock form, but cant wait till I can confidently hose off those pesky rexs and gti-r's.
August 5, 200422 yr #2 honestly im not sure about the 1/4 times for the XR8, we got a manual XR8 in blueprint also (nice color pick)wanna get some pics up for us?whats the specs on your car, what options has it got..and hope to have you visit here alot more to come! August 5, 200422 yr #4 I know of an XR8 Ute that has run 13.4-13.5 at Calder. I haven't heard of any quicker, but there could be.Geea.
August 6, 200422 yr #5 Theres a phantom XR8 ute that runs at Calder regularly. It's supercharged and has run a 13.0x. Not sure if it has dipped into the 12's yet.Great looking car.Mick
August 6, 200422 yr #6 not to sure about the xr8, but I was at willowbank and watched a GT run a 14.8, he was a little sh*tty when I ran a faster time.
August 6, 200422 yr #7 Hypnodoc and Genebaby would be good people on this forum to talk to about modding BA V8s. Hypnodoc has done quite a few engine mods to his GT and I think Genebaby has the helix throttle body spacer on his XR8.
August 6, 200422 yr #8 I know its not a XR8, but there was a guy at the recent WSID street meet in an auto GT-P. I think his best time was a 13.9 with only 2500Kms on the clock. So you could figure an XR8 is bit lighter but with less power would do a 14.3 - 14.5 ??I also wonder if the Boss260 performs better with the auto. This seems to be the case with the T.CheersPSI
