but to me, I love the new monaro... its a hell of a lot better then the other new ones, the front bumper looks so nice, the scoop just adds to its style and the rims, soo much better compared the the rims that they are starting to bring out in the VZ's and some of the VY rims...

just my opinion

I like the rims too. Way better than the last ones, better than the stock xr rims too.

Those nostrils now spoil an otherwise reasonably nice looking car, they botched up the look of the VY clubbies/R8 also with their plastic fantastic try too hard body kit.

I didnt even notice, that's how much the nostrils stand out.

nah, not a fan...it feels ricey to me.

I too like the current model CV8, and speaking with a mate of mine, some of you know him from Bathurst cruise, the only improvement is the placement of the fuel cap, and that is not designed to be a cosmetic improvement :lol:

As a ford fan I hate to admit it but the fact is the new monaro is a better looking car then any of the fords, and anyone who thinks otherwise must surely suffer from some sort of blindness.

After reading some of the other comments, it is obvious that some ford fans are just jealous and have nothing better to do then criticize the new monaro.

The current model CV8 looks good but is just to plain.

The new rims on the new monaro look excellent, they suit the car very well and definitely look better then any of the ford XR or previous CV8 rims. The red brake calipers are clearly better then just plane silver or grey of previous model, and the slightly modified front bumper gives the new monaro a slightly more aggressive look.

Everything about the new monaro looks better then the previous CV8. Clearly the best looking car Australia has designed, and that's a fact.

The nostrils spoil what was a very nice look, they are, well, uuuugly and out of place the rest is ok but, it needs a proper update to halt its diminishing sales, sorry, but the BA range XR's and especially GT's look far better than any Holden, no jealousy just opinion.

Those vents look terrible and out of place on a modern day car. To me a Monaro looks best with no kit on it at all, just the smooth lines of the car to see. Nothing worse than seeing a HSV GTS Coupe with THAT kit on it - ruins a nice smooth looking car.
