WSID was the venue for the inaugural XR6T vs V8.com event

Well done guys, only 2 of us showed up.. :glad:

PSI in his stocky peeled off a 13.8 again(his worst run) on his first run backed up by a 13.6 on one of his later runs @ 101 mph Well done Matt...

My first run was a 14.562 @114.86mph ...Spooled up 4lb of boost and let it go.. sideways for 300 metres... :gooff:

My best run was [email protected] have to get some slicks me guesses

Saw that mad commie ute running 10's again, worst part was he bought his mate and his commie ute and that ran 10's also... :spoton:

Big thanks to Joe(XRSEX) for the boost gauge and Jeff(xr6ickness)for his advice and support... :glad:

Also a big thanks to Peter(6six6) for organising all the commodores to race and putting on a great event :glad:

Great time John, welcome to the club. Did you have alot of trouble with wheel spin on your 12.6? What launch technique did you use.

Exactly how stock is Matt's car. 13.6 is nearly unbelievable for a totally stock "T".

Hopefully I maybe able to come up there in Jan and have a few runs.

Well done JB, great time. It's always good to see another 12 sec T. Times will improve with a bit of practice.

And yes, sensational time for a Stock?? T.

Geea, mainly wheelspin was a real problem...I am still having problems with my 60' times but am working on it...I had 4 runs with a 2.1 60'...which resulted in 2 x 12.7's and 2 x 12.6's...I had one run where I launched well..2.0 60' but wheel spun all the way through 2nd and 3rd gears for a 13.6... :pinch:

With PSI, he has one mod and that is a 2" hole in his airbox He consistently runs 2.0 x 60' times and I think that's where his good times come from.

Hope to see you in January.. :smilielol: but there will be a few of us making the tirp to Calder soon..

So its just a 2" hole with nothing attached to it? Is this a 2 inch hole as welll as the factory intake pipe that leads to the box or a 2 inch hole because he took that pipe off?

Sounds like the worlds best BFYB performance mod :censored:

I think Matt was going to put the XR8 snorkel on but changed his mind...he has the original air intake plus the hole

When he ran against the LS1 forum guys he was running 13.8's all day The 8 other members who raced that day will testify to this...

Dont doubt it, but that's amazing performance for a stock T.
