Guest PHNTUM Guests Posted 13/03/03 07:25 AM Posted 13/03/03 07:25 AM Hey guys has anyone looked into this type of modification to there ECU no hardware changes just plug in and play. I think this is very simular to the device that dealears use for firmware upgrades.
Guest PerthXR6T Guests Posted 17/03/03 08:12 AM Posted 17/03/03 08:12 AM I am not sure how true this is. I heard that Ford tested the XR6T for weeks runing at 14 lbs boost, and encountered no problems.

Its a shame cos the xr6t engine still pulls hard at 6000. But stay tuned there will be stronger conrods avaliable in the next model and heard they can be a straight replacement for the first xr6t engine. Why would you want to rev your car that high when max power is made at about 1200rpm under that?
