well since Garden city is a small cherpy away from my house I guess I will try and get there. Hey can I just ask if XR8 owners are allowed to join in the festivities of this club, I work with a guy who has a FULLY SIC xr8, sounds F^%^&%$en sweet, with its twin exhaust set-up. He might be interested, I will check if that's ok.

Hey also I was wondering if the organisers were expecting heaps of back pats afterward, I have come to realise, that the other QLD club, not going to mention their name, seem to fill the forums with people carrying on like the organising commitee is some sort of GOD, they don't mention the fact that without everyone involved there is no event, I can't stand that sh*t, Thank you and weldone should be enough but to carry on as they do, it makes me sick to think they carry on on and on about the organising people. Not saying it is easy for you guys here to organise it, but you guys in this club seem more down to earth and expect nothing more than a thanks and weldone, of course as long as we all enjoy it aay?

Well Na thunder I'll be there with my cardboard cut out supercharger stickytaped on to the block :w00t2:

XR8 sounds good to me bring him along.

no back slapping here but b**ch slapping accepted.

No blowing trumpets here. I think I know which group you are talking about :glad::spoton:

Hahaha, n/p there mate, Maybe I'll set up a cardboard blower myself. The XR8 is more than welcome! mmmm. :k24t:

As long as you enjoy the events and feel like you want to participate in other events, our job is done. So far the 2 "Official" cruises have been a great success and we only hope the events just get better and better from here. The FordXR6Turbo.com members that attend and have attended in the past are a fantastic bunch of people.

Note to all: Remember, the day is just going to be a fun day with the competition taking you roughly 90 mins, it's not a rally circuit or a race track. You have to be looking out for businesses, landmarks and other things to answer the questions. Some are a sinch and you should get the answer straight away, others are doozys and if you're not thinking in the right frame of mind, you may very well not get it. They are all simple questions that are designed to be a little vague to throw you off and make you think. We don't expect you to get all of them right. If they were all easy, there would be no point. :glad:

Prizes at the finish ppl. Plus a raffle which I hope you guys will consider buying a ticket as proceeds of course go directly to the site. The Final Deastination does have BBQ facilities so stock those picnic baskets, should be a good day.

Just checked my diary and.........

I'm in..........I think..........I'll just have to check with the Lady Macka tonight but I'm sure we will be participants. Perhaps this will end the saga of....

"Will ballast man ever finish a cruise"......??
