I own an xr6t ute and I'm trying to find out some technical answers so here goes:-

Does the xr6t sedan computer have the same internals as Xr6t ute computer. Can they be interchanged?

Also has anyone have fuse diagrams they can send me on the xr6t sedan. Inside fuse box and under bonnet fuse box. Any chance anyone has them at easy reach at the moment. Cheers

From Memory 'till work tomorrow but, The third connector in the NA cars has no pins I think. That would not make them interchangable.

Could be wrong!

What I'm trying to do is compare the turbo sedan to the turbo ute. Because I'm trying to track down what parts are we missing in the ute to hook up traction control to the ute as harness seems to be there but fuses and switch are missing and I am wondering if there is anything else missing or not?

I know I am no techno head ( :censored: ) when it comes to cars, but don't the ute and the wagon in the BA still use a three point ABS system? That's why traction control isn't fitted to them?

Happy to be proven wrong.

interesting if so why the different abs system would it be due to the rear suspension of the ute?

Basically, yes. As I say, I could be totoally wrong, but I think the leaf-sprung wagon and ute still use a 3 channel ABS system.

Well consider yourself happy - because you are indead wrong.

The ute has 4 channel ABS (in fact so did my AU ute) but apparently the traction control is missing because of the different rear driveline.

But who needs traction control anyway???

Trent.
