Charliewool Member 375 Member For: 23y 8m 15d Location: Melbourne Posted 04/03/03 09:33 PM Posted 04/03/03 09:33 PM Ford have "donated" a free advanced driving course ( run by John Bowe).. with every GT, Pursuit purchase. Has anyone done one yet?..Where do they run the course?,What is covered in the course, And do you use your own car? Any info appreciated.

I'm sure most people who will buy a FPV car certainly know how to steer but it will give them a good introduction to their car and what it can really do.One of my mates, a salesman, had the T-Series drive day at sandown with John Bowe. After driving around the track at a speed he thought was fast, was nothing compared to what John did when he hopped in with him....at 30km/hr quicker around turn 1, and fiddling with the climate control functions around the track while sideways!

Considering the cars we own I think it would be a good idea if we knew how to drive them better at times we need to like in rain or defensive driving.hang on, let me see if I can find some prices from a web site... :smiliewalkin: ...here we go, check out the prices from Ian Luff Motivation and see what you all think....
