I wouldn't worry about when you ordered it inless you meant that is the production date. I was told my ute goes into production on the 19th June. Today, Friday 25th, it arrived at Titan Brookvale. I pick it up Tuesday only because the hard cover is arriving Monday. Once it went into production it happened quickly. But I have heard the horror stories of it taking months.

Well, the lease mob gave me the delivery date today (as they promised they would)

July 30th is the day!

Its better than I expected, although I guess the dealer may stuff me around a bit.

So, whoever in this thread told me that knowing the date is the next hurdle is right.

I know I will be counting down everyday. My wife is already telling me off cos me and the kids keep going on about XR6's ha ha ha ha

The lease mob gave me the dealer contact so I will ring on Monday and make sure they don't miss any of the extras.

I've ordered mine through my employer and they said minimum 16 weeks! At this rate, I hope I get the BA2 so it makes it all worthwhile!

The lease company ordered mine on 20/5.

Spoke with the dealer today - it is sitting in Melbourne awaiting transport to Queensland (Yippee)

Original date given for delivery was 4/7 but should get it 2/7 so fingers crossed. That’s just over 6 weeks.

Ordered vixen red, 5 speed, premium sound, satellite navigation (lets see my wife turn that upside down to read it!) tinted windows, 2400 kg tow pack and a list of the standard accessories.

You bloke all over very little. I had to wait 4 months to the day for delivery. Ordered 28/10/02 picked up 28/2/03. To make it even worse I had an accident on the 30/11/03 and didn't get the car back till 30/1/04, another 2 months so all up I have spent 6 months waiting for my car.

ours took 3 or 4 weeks, was built oct 29th and we got it november 15. No factory options at all.

As I suspected, the delivery date is now August 10th

I have now restarted the countdown.........bugger

I ordered mine on a friday and got it the following wednesday..there might be one in stock somewhere that has those options..like in my case..

Can you get those options on an XR6T?

I thought the engine was rated to about 1,300kg or similar and the manual transmission even less. (ie the engine restricts the towing capacity with an auto transmission). Perhaps you have ordered an XR8? (your post doesn't say)

Not trying to be smart bugger, but I thought you could only get the minimum tow pack. Would be very pleased to be proven wrong.
