The REAR FOG lights on all cars bother me. Why is this so you ask?....Because the design parameters for a REAR FOG light call for it to be of high intensity so that in a heavy fog, you don't run up its arze.......!!

Those rear fog lights piss me off no end. I find them mainly on those stupid bloody Hyundai's. Usually driven by 18-20year old females with no bloody idea. I bet most arn't even aware that they have that light or that it's bloody on. We should make a special penalty for this. If caught with the rear fog light on, confiscate there mobile phone for 24 hours. This would solve the problem in less than a week.

Geea.

Nah,

your over-reacting. this problem is easly solved in the carpark with a 3/8 inch steel pipe applied to the aformentioned foglights.

I like the way you think 6fan. So which car park we going to do first. :o

Geea.

guys lets think , as a motor bike rider I have my lites on all the time , it helps to be seen and as you all seem to point out you see these people with there fog lites on . If they are truely fog lites then they will not glare into the oncoming traffic's eyes as they are focused just ahead of the car so that in fog you don't get the glare back in your own eyes. The aim of the game is to be seen and not hit. Sorry but when I fell the need to have them on I will put them on, especialy on country roads.

My 2 cents worth

If you really want to be seen what's wrong with the headlights on low beam? It's legal, the lights are mounted higher and therefore are easer to see and other people won't mistake you for a SS commadore.

I don't think there is any argument about having lights on during the day

I'm not real fussed about using foglights on during the day but.......

I've always had a headlight on when I had my bikes, even before it was mandated by an ADR for new bikes many years ago.

I'm only extremely annoyed about people using them at night illegally

Got a pair of 10,000 Lumin night suns, as soon as I can wire them up I'm going to replace my foggies with them. Then everyone will be able to see me in the middle of the day, might make the high beams a bit inefective though. If anything is rice it's driving with foglights on.
