I am new to your forum. I have just been reading some of the entertaining posts in the Closed thread about the recently staged LS1 nationals.

I would like to invite as many of you FF members (***** wrong place**** but we forgive you :lol: ) as you like for a fun night of drags at WSID.

No money, no bullsh*t just a chance to meet people from the different camps, have some runs and a beer after.

This is not a challenge or whos got the biggest dick post, just a friendly invite.

So if you guys are intersted post here and we can make a date.

I will try and get an equal amount of guys with ls1's to attend.

I would appreciate it if this did not turn into a slinging match.

It may or may not be Street tuna, either way it sounds like a great idea.

I have been out to Calder a few times and the best nights are when we are parked on the infield and get to chat with fellow motoring enthusists. Its great to compare mods and cars whilst the cars themselves are cooling down for their next run.

Thanks for the warm reception, in answer to some of your comments.

1. The bad PM, don't worry the posts have been good.

2. A date for WSID some where around the 10th of May or whenever they are holding a street meet.

3. What is done to my car.

= Home made cold air induction

= HM Headers

= Dual 2.5" HDT exhaust

= Mafless LS1 edit by Sams performance

= Dominator 3500 lock up stall convertor

The engine is stock as delivered from GMH

4. The Expensive Daewoo Vs Ford thing, I think its good as long as its kept in perspective. I like to enjoy my car no matter what brand it is, I don't think your allegiance to Expensive Daewoo or Ford makes you a better or worse person.

In my honest opinion the BA is a nicer looking car than a VY, but I do prefer the LS1 engine. it is amazing how much you can get out of them with just a few bolt- ons.

I think the Expensive Daewoo V8 dominance on the street will be dented the day somebody can crack the Ford V8 engine management. You turbo guys already have the go fast bits.

I hope we can get a decent turn out from this post, I know that the LS1 guys would jump at the opportunity to have a few runs followed by a few beers.

Maybe I already know some of you from WSID I go every 3 weeks.

As for slugging Expensive Daewoo or hyundai etc...

There are only 2 brands of muscle cars in Australia Ford & Holden the rest are rice, disposable or luxury vehicles.
