Peter from APS,

I would get the APS kit done tomorrow if you could shave 3/10's off my car. I don't mean to bag your product. I applaud your efforts and I am keen to get more power in my car.

The thing is, I have removed the centre muffler and done the K & N filter. Will I need to change everything back to stock before fitting the APS kit?

Can it be tuned to the current set-up? If it can, please give me a contact on the Gold Coast and I will get it done ASAP.

No problem to tune the phase I system to suit your current mods, in fact that the real benefit of the phase I system it can be mapped/tuned to ensure the best possible power from the combination of your current mods.

I would recommend you contact C and J motorsports ( they are tuning guru's) there not on the gold coast, though they would be closer for you as they are located on the south side of Brisbane.

I promise that you will be astounded with the difference the phase I system makes to your T. There is nothing like custom dyno tuning to provide the ultimate in peak engine performance.

Thanks Peter,

I have decided to give it a go. If they can fit it tomorrow I will take it to willowbank on wednesday night 21st april.

I will let you know how I go.

No problem I will be interested to see what time and mph you can run after the phase I upgrade, make sure you let me know. By the way do you have an auto or manual trans in you T?

Ask to speak with Kelvin and make sure you have a good chat to him, I know that kelvin likes the BP ultimate premium fuel in QLD so make sure you discuss that issue with kelvin.

Regards

I have the auto

Is that a problem?

I will speak to Kelvin and I will also give you some NO BS feedback

Thanks again

No the auto is the way to go for quick 1/4 mile times though flaring on gearchange can be a problem when at very high torque levels. Would be best to do a trans upgrade (increase line presure) as soon as possible. :ermm:

Here is a link to an old thread on removing the centre muffler.

Geea. :censored:

Well Ive had mine done for over 12 months now and all is well,no drone,100kph and over no sound at all, unbelevable but true.

I did the dyno before and after (do a search) and you get more low down grunt, and loose a bit at top ,but down low is where is where you want more.

Any gumby reading this and not sure what to do,get it done with flanges ,which means you can put the muff back any time.

Those who havent done it love the sound of mine,oh and engine braking hmmmm..just bewdefull.
