Had my T with sunroof since december 2002, and loving everyday of it. No leaks no noises nothing..... well of course there is a small amount of wind noise as with the windows, but close the sunroof and inner lining and it's silent.

Adam likes "his hole in roof" cause when on a T cruise he can identify his car very quickly in the car park.

But seriously folks, tall people have the problem that as we sit further back the glare that comes in front of you can be dangerous. I'd love one but as I drive like a twit I need all the protection I can get.

I got one, I love having the moon roof, I just hate all the crap that comes with it.

Rattles, squeaks, doesn't open, doesn't close, high pitched whistle...

And no ford dealer know's how to fix them, they always get external sunroof people out to fix them, and guess who pays for it... Not ford....

One thing to keep in mind: if you buy a sunroof, you probably won't be able to install a ceiling mounted DVD system. And if you have kids like I do, then a DVD system is a must. Trust me.

Ford certainly won't install a factory DVD on a car with a sunroof and I know it'd be pretty damn hard to install an after market one. However, your other choice would be to put in the ones cut into the headrests but that's harder to do and more expensive (and more stuffing around if you want to replace a screen.

Oh... and in-car DVDs are awesome.

hi

Sorry to be a spoil sport but sunroofs are not my thing. Have a sunroof in my current (soon to be previous) car - opened it less than 10 times in five years. Too windy, too noisy, too sunny etc etc - if you want the feeling of being in the open air get a true convertable.

I had a sunroof in my AUII XR8 and it was the first option on my 'T' I think it makes driving a lot more relaxing having the open air feeling and after owning it on my XR8 for over 2 years I had no wind noise, leaks or other issues so 2 thumbs up from me for the sun/moon roof.
