April 15, 200422 yr #1 has anyone had problems with 18 inch rims being hard to get a wheel alignment, and car drifting to the right?
April 15, 200422 yr #2 has anyone had problems with 18 inch rims being hard to get a wheel alignment, and car drifting to the right? I have the 18's...no drifting right probs, have had my tyres rotated but not an alignment as yet...might be worthwhile at my 15k service in a month or so...
April 15, 200422 yr #3 Well I just spoke to another person who says it has something to do with Offset between back to front, maybe that's causing me issues..........
April 15, 200422 yr #4 FPV290BOSS,I have the same problem, ford have looked at it and say it's ok all fords should do that "NO ISSUE" that’s So I am taking matters into my own hands.
April 15, 200422 yr #5 my dealer just say the Dunlop Sps are hard to work with, they tried to fix it by change the wheels around on the car, but im curious to find out if there is a different offset between the front and back????????
April 15, 200422 yr #6 In my experience of the past few years with the T and an AUII XR8 I have found Ford hopeless when it comes to wheel alignment and balancing .Save yourself a lot of hassle and take it to a reputable wheel alignment specialist. They will more than likely fix the problem.
April 18, 200422 yr #7 has anyone had problems with 18 inch rims being hard to get a wheel alignment, and car drifting to the right? My mate had the same problem after new tyres and wheel alignment from Beurepaires Mount Isa. They had set the wheel alignment specifications up at AU standard as they did not haver the Ba specs. They claimed they where almost exactly the same. Not so as Ba run blade IRS totally different. All I can say is find a reputable wheel alignment shop that has the specifications.
