  1. Hi guys. I’m booked for my first tune. I have an fg mk 2 . I’m sure this has been asked a hundred times . So if the moderators could be so kind as to point my to a link on this forum that would be great. I have the usual first stage parts for the standard turbo being stage 2 plazmaman intercooler, hard piping , 100lb injectors , 460 pump and 5 inch cat. I have read many posts and know the expected power gains. But what is the drivability like . On a dry road if I put my right foot down will it try and get all out of control. My wife will be driving the car on occasions so I sort of need it to be safe .cheers for any inputs.
  2. I have gone and purchased some new rims for my fg sedan ! 18/9.5 rear 18/8.5 front . So before I buy some tyres I’m asking the brains trust before I potentially waste my money. I had chosen a 275/40r18 at rear with a maximum diameter of 677 mm and 245/45r18 for front which also has max at 677 mm . The vehicle may in the future be lowered to ssl at rear . Can anyone shed some light on potential issues I may run into with this setup. Cheers in advance.
  3. Gday guys . Another new XR6T owner here needing some tips from the experienced . I know you have been asked a thousand times before but any suggestions would be appreciated. I have just bought a fg2 sedan with 30k on odometer and is stock . From what I’ve read they are a big strong engine with plenty of potential to gain some more horsepower. Where do I start ? What do I get ? What sort of money will I have to spend ?Where do I buy parts from?
  4. Gday lads and ladies . Just a quick couple of questions about cv performance. Anyone had work done with them ? I understand they are a professional mechanical service and provide quality upgrade packages for xr6t g6et etc . Who’s happy and who’s not ? Has anyone had or know someone who’s had the stage 3 fg xr6t package and what the dollars it would set you back . They are my local tuners/ performance mechanics in my area . Any feedback would be much appreciated.
