("come on for a good cause") Objective: To rasie funds for the Weestpac helicopter that delivers it services all over the state. All welcome, would be nice to have a strong honda presence there. Its for a great cause, who knows when you or someone you know might need the service from the helicopter. From what ive been told word has spread through out forums so should be a good day.
  3. Hey, do any of you newy guys have brembos on your t's? I'm lookng to put brembos on mine but I wanna check that my wheels won't hit them.
  4. Just got off the phone from vpw, they dont fit our falcons at all, its all for yank cars, bit of a bummer.
  5. As the title states, does anyone know if this kit fits our t's? seams too cheap to be true, so im guessing its rubbish. http://www.vpw.com.au/product.asp?CatID=3&...mp;ProdID=55681
  6. Never been to the top fuellers, fark me your in for a treat, 1 piece of advice, take ear plugs/muffs. Top fuellers run at 5 7 and 9pm, although if you hang around for the 9pm race it takes about 1 hour to get out of the stupid carpark they have.
  7. Im heading down on the saturday for the top fuellers. Planning to get to the strip around 3 30 or so. if anyone else is going down I'd be up for bit of a cruise.
  8. Haha its harsher then stock that's for sure, just no harsh enough to piss me off when driving in traffic. Current mods are wod cooler, piping from top of cooler to tb replaced with alloy pipe, battery moved to other side and short intake with pod in custom air box, flash tuner running the generic 10lb tune, I have some deka injectors that are going in in 2 weeks wth a custom tune. Before the piping, intake and gearbox the car was dynoed at 255.5rwkw.
  9. Hey, I've been in melbounre on teh weekend having the box out of dynowogs ute fitted to my t, all I can say is I couldn't be happier with both the product and the service. Dynowog was a pleasure to do business with and I deffiantely recomend him to anyone. As for the box it was built by prestons and its awesome, feels much tighter then stock without being harsh and feels like it puts the power down alot better. All in all im stoked with it.
  10. I'm keen for another cruise sometime soon, the last heaps of cruises you guys had have always fallen on days I work. I got a presons auto going in next week aswell so finally time to break the 300rwkw mark.
  11. Saturday doesn't suit me sorry guys, I work too early sunday mornings. But if for some reason I'm not working I'll be in.
  12. Im in the same situation, I've gt some of the deka's but I have to get my car serviced at the yard every 6 months to retain my warranty, looks like injectors and tune will be put off for a while.
  13. I'll take 2 possibly 3 also, these look awesome.
  14. xhp boost in the 19s will fit over the brembos aswell, or so im told.
  15. I have some 18in ba gt wheels, but I want to be able to put my stock wheels on for rego checks etc, otherwise I would be optiong for the 356mm rotor.
  16. I have the option to get these brakes with a 356mm rotor but they wont fit under my 17s so im opting for the 220mm, which apparently is so tight you cant fit a finger between the caliper and wheel.
  17. Thanks for the info, yea those k sport calipers only have quite small pistons so im guessing the overal piston area wouldnt be too much bigger. I should be getting these fittted sopme time after christmas, I will post up how they perform then.
  18. They are new, I still havnt checked out whether they are adr approved yet though. Heres a pic of them
  19. because these front are so cheap, $2000 fitted and tested for k sport 8 piston fronts, 330mm slotted rotors, braided lines and pads, too cheap to pass up imo.
  20. This is all very useful info, thanks heaps for the replys, I think im going to go with this front set up to start off, im guessing in the worste case scenario, they will still be better then my stuffed warped std brakes now that wont stop me over 120. I will deffinately do the rear in the up comming months but will start off just with the fronts. Thanks again for the replys. Ps I dont think my car will every see a racetrack, probably a drag strip but never a track.
  21. Its looking like the kit I may have to go, just got a price on sone 4 pistons rears, $3550!!, 1550 more then the 8 piston fronts.
  22. So is it deffinately not possible to put these brakes 8 piston brakes on without upgrading the rears? if not what are my other options that arnt too pricey, preferably under $4000, other then the pbrs, I havnt heard good things about that upgrade.
  23. Wel I never thought it was going to be so involved lol, my bugdet doesnt really stretch out to do the rears aswell, especially if I have to buy 4 or 6 pot rears, I might have to put it off for a fair while by the looks of it.
  24. Yea I know that, but what I mean is as a alternative to buying some aftermarket bigger rear brakes.
  25. For those looking for brake upgrades I talked toa worker from A & B motorsports in brookvale today, he said he could do 330mm slotted rotors, with 8 piston ksport calipers, pads and braided lines for $2000 fitted, front only though. My car will be going in, in a month or so to get them fitted.
