I herd on FF's that the high output igintion coils are $75 each for 5.4l 8's, and there currently doing r&d on the 6 for them. 6*$75 =$450

I dont know? it does it even on the stock tune, so ill say its a factory thing im stuck with :(

I found this forum after the fordmods one then moved to AFF. I got the clutch in, the clutch is one that spiro supplied and fitted. You can tell it has alot more grab when u take off in first, makes the engine bog down for a split second. I'll be going out to WSID probaly in a month or two and see how it goes.

Here is my dyno sheets and time slip. First one is with current mods. it was tuned with 91 octane Second one is with a new metal cat and tuned with 98 octane thanks spiro pb et of 15.2 was with a slipping clutch and with my old tune of 149rwkw

that does sound good, I would be very interested in having some laps around a track, 130 bucks with dyno runs sounds like a bargain

a few mates hired a magna for a trip to canberra n back. on the way back we were speeding, but only one person was driving the whole time, (might have to do with new ground speed records we set) anyway, we got done by a radar on the first campbelltown exit, the fine was huge, I took responsiblity for it,and so did my other mate. we paid half his fine. your mate should do the same. he was behind the wheel, he was in control.

yeah it gives much better throttle response, I got mine of ebay so it was cheaper. about a year ago, you can get from another company half the price of ss, if I knew that then I would have bought it from them.

15.5 for a sedan, 5 speed is what u can expect, my ute used to do 16s stock (that's with a g tech)

I got advanced headers, I was gonna get pacemaker but they were out of stock at the time, so I went with the advanced ones, there kinda a mix of the jimock and the paccies. got them ceramic coated aswell, keeps the heat down and looks great.

I probally will take both for a test drive to to put my mine at ease, I love changing my own gears, I swore that ill never get another auto after I left my ef untill im an old man, I find that when I drive an auto I become a lazy dumb driver, I belelive its down to the fact I have less to concerntrate about. Im going to be looking at getting a BAmk2 cos they come with the 6 speed manual, stronger reliable box.

now im coming close to trading in my beloved 4 year old ba xls ute, I know, only from reading that the six turbo has a greater power band than the xr8, I am a lover of the xr8 note, thought I relisise that livin into day means getting Best package , when u look on car sales there are bloody heaps OF XR8'S compared to the turbo 6 aVAILABLE. the turbo 6 has huge potiontial over the 8. my mate has a 32 gtr, and it sounds tough, really tough, 500hp+ I wanna have the turbo xr6 with a simialr sound and presnece, is it possible? your anger, help, comments are all welcomed
