  4. Hey, ran my car for the first time last night at calder just to see what it would do stock standard.. Managed to run a 14.04 with a very slow 60" time of 2.20 , looks like I need some more practice getting a better start. Also noticed on this run I left it to cool for about 45 mins before doing this time as when I went straight back for another try at cracking a 13 it only ran a 14.1 then 14.2... Quick to find that these things dont like the heat!!!!! oh well im getting a edit and tune this week so it would be good next time to compare the difference in times the tune is going to make!!! Also could any one tell me does the factory converter have a limit on how much U can stall it up???? cheers Ryan

  6. Hey guy sorry if this a dumb question , but would it be wise to get a edit and tune this time of year (the day its going in to get tuned they say its going to be 39 degrees !!!!!!!!) or would you hold off and wait for the cooler months to get it tuned. Would this make any difference or can they compansate for these kind of temperatures????? just worried as come the cooler months I dont want it to run like sh*t and ping off its head because it was tuned for hotter temperatures!!!!!! sorry new to this custom tuning and modifing stuff!!!! cheers
  7. Mildman: thanks 4 clearing up this, Ive managed to get in contact with the company and am now finding out how much is left on the lease to payout!!!! was stressing out abit as Ive never brought a car in this situation as it sounds like a dodgey way to sell a car but if all goes well, hopefully I will be a new proud owner of one of these beasts!!!!!! cheers
  8. Thanks for all the comments guys, yeah Ive got a fair idea what to look for basic things like brakes, oil leaks etc but wanting someone that's got some expertise in this field so thus the reason for getting someone to take a look at it.... Ive found a company that do on site inspections on weekends stateroads dont know what they are like but are charging me $149 for a complete inspection, compression test paint measurement road test etc, so see how that comes up!!!! Also if there is any of U guys that are leasing cars or in this line of work, can u sell a car that is still under lease with finance still owing on it????? If so how do u go about buying a car like this, do I pay out his remaining loan and pay the remaining amount we agreed on the price of the car?????? hope this is not confusing and makes scene!!!! cheers
