  2. I'm still getting used to 330rwkw lol going from V8's the progressive power curve of the F6 is great though you do have to watch what road surface your on though skates abit sometimes
  3. Yeh the Kenwood sub is on the list I spotted it in the other thread.. cheers for the heads up though, gotta do the valve springs and delete the stripes first though
  4. 33 - 2012 FPV F6 #403
  5. Sorted some things which were giving me the sh&ts on the car, the previous owner fitted a huge boot install and hacked up the OEM wiring for the amp so I just spent the say rewiring the plug, refitting the factory sub and amp (had to source an amp) and also fitted a 3rd brake light to go with the F6E bobtail
  6. Funny you should bring the subject up, I've been playing around with HDT commodores over the past 10yrs and seen a big shift from modified cars back to concourse restos, mainly due to values going through the roof I like modified cars however I like to keep mods to somewhat reversible state, with my F6 the previous owner fitted a huge boot install and hacked up the OEM wiring for the amp so I just spent the say rewiring the plug and refitting the factory sub and also fitted a 3rd brake light to go with the F6E bobtail

so which way "should" they be and which way did they leave factory, the pic is abit unclear.. should the light blue wire be towards the front of the car or to the rear??
  9. I wouldn't be in negotiations either. . Take my money, take it NOW
  10. Looking at the photos It's had abit of work done, bigger intercooler and air intake mod's also, hold out for a stock one if that's what you're after one will come up there's plenty out there
  11. It'd be one to buy considering its still covered by the full new car warranty? Would love to hear the used car salesman spill if you asked if it was stock lol
  12. I've owned afew V8's over the years, still have a VK Brock Commodore, the F6 is to replace our daily BF XR6 (for the wife and kids) Was hooked after driving one, their a weapon even stock form.. our car has had a tune/injectors before we brought it so took it back to the tuner just to get it looked at basicly but yeh she's down on power up top will get the valves changed out shortly then it'll do as the family wagon, a fun family wagon I should say
  13. Sweet man.. I did see that thinking it was a good buy, spewing it wasn't in WA otherwise I would have brought it I know the feeling I just got my 2012 F6 acouple of weeks back and love it.. just found out it needs valve springs though but ergh ya get that
  14. Some of the older cars I seen had rust in the front end up under the front 1/4's but mk2 you should be ok I just found out the valve springs are abit hit and miss on them with a tune also, talk with the tuner to get their opinion on the car also before you commit too.. hope it turns out sweet bud

  19. I rate Chev badges right up there with gold Honda badgesWill keep an eye out on thr events page, spend half the time outta town if you know what I mean so yeh..
  20. Oh and I was after a white one until I saw this thing on a FB page which changed my mind on red, also happens to have the same boot and bonnet, I don't really like copying other peoples cars which is why I was leaning towards the stripes as it was different.. but anyway, it'll look close to this soon enough
  21. I've been around forums for awhile so I'm well aware, you guys have nothing on the Brock Commodore "purists" haha The F6 will serve as the family wagon replacing our BF XR6 (does anyone want it lol) I've always wanted one since they were released and got the other half on board so got one quick before she changed her mind will be stockish for awhile, it's had a tune and injectors done so it goes pretty well, for now. . As for the kit I do like the sleeper look.. stripes will come off though over them already
  22. Yeh banner will come off, still 50/50 on the stripes yet but the boot will stay as is
