was told by a mechanic that it will cost $2300 to fix the jerking in my xr6t cause apparently the turbo was gone turns out it was just the coils and sparks and transmission service

so my xr6t was jerking every time I planted my foot down so I took it to the mechanic he takes it for a test drive pops the bonnet and says your turbo is f*cked im like yeah ok so how much will this issue cost to fix? mechanic says I can get you out of trouble for $2300 yeah cheers mate ill get back to you on that 1. Next day I take it to a turbo specialist hooks up the dyno and tells me all I need is new coils sparks and transmission service $800 later my car is back to normal and going like it should. so you can stick your $2300.

my 04 xr6t auto gearbox works fine and when you shift it to the left for the sports shift it recognises that you shifted over but it wont sh*t through the gears> what could be the cause??( but the normal auto works perfectly fine)

I do feel it you can just hear it cause the turbo is stock no mods

with 90,000ks on it $11000 its got power compared to the Expensive Daewoo omega that I test drove this was a sure winner but just wondering is the turbo on full timeor does it kick in after a certain amount of rpm

I looked at a few and this one was in better condition then the rest I inspected
