Guys, I have both bonnet and headlight protectors. I fitted them myself and I do not get the noise. Maybe they have not been fitted correctly or are loose... You may want to check out the screws under the bonnet and also the 2 black plastic lugs on each end..

Hmmm.. If you push the button does the light come on in the dash.. Could be that the dufus guys on the line have installed the button / sedan dash by mistake..? Some cars with premium sound have had the wrong a pillar mouldings installed over the small speakers... Simple to fine out. B) Go and find some durt. Nail it and see if it spins the wheels or coffs and carrys on like it is miss firing!

Guys / Girls, After the great response of the first video I put together I thought I would massage it a little. (After a few nice suggestions ). I tried to turn it into a site promo video. B) I have placed a site water mark on it as well as some titles and cleaned it up a little..... B) Sorry about the quality. It is hard to reduce file size and keep quality of vission and sound..! Guys, The files will be left where they are for at least 4 weeks. (I am going to NZ) There should not be a problem leaving them longer than that though..!! I can put it on full size VHS tape as well... PM me if needed. Send the tape and a reply paid envelope and away we go.. (As stated I am off to NZ at the end of next week) so if any one wants a VHS jobbie it will need to wait until July... (or Melb Dyno day! - If I am there)

Daz, Yeh no problem. Can leave it there for now.. If you like copy one of them (the WMV) to the gallery and go from there. I may need to remove them in a few weeks... Cro, Yes I did put the NSW ones there on purpose. They seemed to work in well. I know there are not the Walhalla run but my primary intention was to create something for all. As we go on more runs the database of pics will grow and I will have another crack at it.. B)

Brents, Just a quick reminder re the tow limit on the manual.. I dont know what you are planing on towing but the Auto may be the go.. The V8 auto has a limit of 2300kg vs the Turbo Auto with 1600kg... Even if you do go the V8 XT over the XR6 dont be shy to the forum. We value all info from all walks of life. Just cos you dont have the turbo doesnt mean you can join in!! Good luck deciding.. ANY BA is better than no BA in my book...!

Mr Walker, No problems. I have the 1600KG on my Auto Turbo and will be towing a 1200KG Van so I am sweat! Always interested in the info though.. My intention was to only point out the info from the data we have from Ford. Just looking to help out my fellow Turbo man and decifer the crap from the dealer..!

Bat, Ah yes.. But yours is a the XR8 not the Turbo.. The turbo is limited. Yes I agree that the load leveling kit is needed just to make sure...

hammer007 Mine is fine. I get cool air in.. when it is set to fresh.. Get them to check it out. Maybe the heater is not closing off correctly?

raoulc, Mate.. Its all up to you. It may have something to do with the clutch..? Not sure. I dont work for Ford. You may need to discuss it with your local dealer. Eithre that or keep quiet.. sshhh..

Sixfan, What road noise... All you can hear is the thoaty exhaust, Turbo spool up and the nice note from the big six up front... You will see when you get it.. B) Anyway... I purchased mine from SUNFORD in Sunbury vic.. More than happy with their dealings. I knew more than they did but I tend to research stuff VERY well.. I did not expect them to know more than me (apart from unpublished stuff of course.) Got a great deal (fleet). More than happy with the service people. Know me by name.. All in all I would give then a 9.5 out of 10...

IMTRBO, From where I sit (I have not had any problems yet! - 7200km) I believe the discs are warping / develop a run out thus causing them to pulsate. If they are machined the highs on the disk are removed. But this of course reduces their life as they are then thiner than when they were new. So after 60,000km and the dealer advises you that they are now below the min width they need to be replaced... Where will we stand re warranty as they "cut" them down early in their life...?? Time will tell..

Guys, BAXRT is correct. The Turbo has a FORD imposed limit of 1200kg for the Manual and 1600kg for the Auto. Yes you could put a 2300kg bar on the turbo BUT.. If you stuff the trans by towing something large then out the door goes the warranty.. Ford Web site Specs. Maximum Towing Capacity Manual Transmission 1200kg9 Automatic Transmission 2300kg8,9,15 Dedicated LPG Sedan 2300kg8,9 The Ford Web site lists the 2300kg as an option for the XR6T but when you go to the Max towing capacity near the bottom it has 3 foot notes on it. Foot note 15 (at the bottom of the page) is this..... 15. Maximum towing capacity for Falcon XR6T is 1600kg. Hope that clears things up for you all... Regardsb Brendan..
