  1. Boost it. Love to see a turbo kit on it....
  2. Yeah even stock, my car would light up the rears with no fuss..
  3. Everyone is ditching the Fords now hey. Nice car Butty. Happy new year everyone. Be safe........
  4. GT R psec will own a BF F6 R spec. Nuff said...................
  5. Boost on Brother...
  6. You dont need a bigger turbo. Stock turbo laggy enough and can easily support that power. Its an SUV not a GTR..
  7. Dosing=Gayness Computer says NO
  8. Fukin funny... You guys dont miss a thing.
  9. True Captain. Ive had plenty of tough street cars in my time but as you said, these things make crazy torque when tuned. I had mine break out at 100kmh plenty of times when my tyres had seen there best and I can tell you that your spot on. Nearly got away on me....
  10. I drive mine around for 4 years with 320rwkw and that was running a Modified BTR 4 speed with 3000rpm converter. The converter was there to help the box at lower rev range so it would take some of the torque of it while cruising. Drive ability was like a normal stock XR but it did have a distinct noise from the 044 fuel pump that you could here while sitting at lights, but basically what RB said is true. Factor in your service requirements, Allow for brakes and follow those mods and you will have a reliable 300rwkw sleeper. As for a 300rwkw BF not breaking a 12 sec pass, well I will let you be the judge of that.......
  11. My old BA run plenty of 11.8 sec passes with around 300rwkw. Would of bowled out mid 11,s but I didnt want to blow my shafts out the back stalling it up over 3300rpm. BF MK II post 6/06 is the go. Stronger internals and valve springs. Dunno about $2k to get you too 300rwkw but with some appropriate mods you will see it easy. By the way, I blew away plenty of Holdens with my set up back in 2004. It was entertaining at the time but 300rwkw is low power figues these days. Good luck and be safe Whipper Snipper
  12. Id be pissed too if its under 300rwkw and running 16.5psi Fark, my old BA did over 300rwkw on 11psi
  13. ^^^ Your gay I have 5 different models of trucks and sometimes its not about power or handling but about a enjoyable rough ride unladen around my local suburbs venting my exhaust brakes everywhere............
  14. Sounds dicey..... How are you tuning the computer to run extra boost/fuel? What are you supporting mods? You just cant wind up boost and expect the computer to compensate.....
  15. Agree with others that more could of been done but and the end of the day, How can you not love the XR8 for what it is. a GT R spec with out the stripes. When you drive these V8 machines, they put a smile on your dial.... Rest of the range boring thou..Oh G6ET is priced well.
  16. Someone who knows
  17. Id say closest to the manifold, as closer to the turbo will give you a incorrect reading.
  18. That tons of people are lining up to buy
  19. You will smash a mid 11 with your power and converter but you will also smash your half shafts as well with the torque you make from stalling it up to 3300rpm. Nice set up thou.
