Does the plastic of the pod and panel, match the genuine dash plastics well???

I am currently running Falken Ziex 245/35/19 front and rear ( all but empty ). While they have lasted me 30 000k's they would have to be the loudest tyres I have experienced. On hotmix they are no worries but as soon as you hit the larger 10mm bitumen it is falken ridiculous!! Now that it is time to replace, can anyone recommend a suitable tyre? I dont want to spend more than $500 a corner. Some mods on the way soon as well. Looking towards 300kw mark. So something quiet with decent traction would be nice.

Have a friend who has a 297kw r8 with a couple of mods from Brock Shop, exhaust and a couple of other minor things. I am wanting to see how my T will perform in comparison. Would like to have a bit of a clue of the difference between the 2 before we have a run. Mine is 04 Auto, K&N, 2nd Cai, and edit from CV arriving today (hopefully) Anyone had a run with one of these? Or have an opinion on the outcome?

depends a lot on the load and the gear I am in. Sometimes it can read as low as 4.5psi but will build to around 5.5 to 6 as the load increases

the filter is not symetrical on edges all the way around. One corner has a different ( larger ) curve and this must go to the top right of the filter box. As you place filter in the air box the flat side faces up and the side with v shaped gauze goes down. Hope this helps.

I spoke to my dealer and he said the computer was designed to make the car run rich on run in. Basicly a saftey for the engine, and this mode would last 10 to 15 thousand k's depending on how many cold starts, highway km's etc. I asked because I average around 18l/100km and thought this was a bit steep.

If I was to fit this cooler on my stock t ( apart from cai and k&n ) I believe it would raise my psi due to less restriction. Can anyone tell me how much it would increase and if the ecu could handle it?

I am presuming F.I.S.T is a performance shop? Can somebody tell me where it is located and contact details?

I trimmed about 20mm off mine. No problems with any noise and still a good ride

When I had my car on the dyno the other day at Bodgy Brothers . (prehistoric dyno). The guy there told me that if you do not buckle the seatbelt before a dyno run, the computer registers this and changes the ignition timing to reduce performance. IS THIS TRUE???? Or was his hands in his pants???

judging by feel alone it seems fine. I have driven one other stock t and it felt very comparable.
