looking at buying a set of 6 front 4 rear brembos of a gt. its a stat rightoff for about 3000$ will they fit on my fg xr6t. whats your guys thoughts.

Hi im just starting to get some pieces for my new build together and I need help with the external gate im doing -atomic engine -Gtx4294r -6Boost manifold the manifold comes with 50mm outlet so I guess I need a 50mm external gate. on the website they say 7/14 psi springs can anyone enlighten me on what they mean and how to choose a gate Cheers guys

has been a while im still around car has been off the road for a little bit jumped a few teeth on the balancer so valves were kissing all fixed toook it to drag then blew my oil pump gear out so the engine is coming out for a forging. had it tuned since from dave 460kw/618hp on e85

im looking at pulling my engine out tomorrow and there is a line that goes into passenger side of the gearbox through a small hole and runs up to the firewall to a small connection does anyone know how to disconnect these fittings??? and what line is it???

yer went and rotated the car only took 8 revolutions so I got lucky there lol the marks and yellow links all line up ok my tuner is 400km away so I might be getting a car trailer I guess thanks for your help barnz

only smoked the once after stall up driveway I have started it again in the garage and it runs ok rough idle just a lovely tapping noise inside. went down and had a look at the timing chain guide and its identical to the pictures above broken top on left side anyone know how to check if it has skipped teeth I saw a photo someone took of there engine all lined up just cant find it again. harmonic balancer notch and the cast line and the 2 yellow chain identifers isnt it?

crap y did I read this thread lol I have all these same problems described lol engine light came on when car is at idle it shakes whole car side to side runs bit rough without revs lol. then driving up my drive way it stalled so I started back up big cough of smoke now I have a nice tapping noise in the head lol, is it possible to skip a tooth and change timing causing valves to open and hit piston head?

in this case sexual that statement doesnt apply. just wanted to get some info good to see a few guys chiping in, in the end it would still be a street car so maybe 1000 wouldnt be practical but its a NICE round number

haha sounds expensive when u put it at 40$ a hp thought it would be about that much ill just tell the miss's its half that and do it

just sitting here interested to know how much would it cost if I wanted 1000hp. what would it involve to the engine ie blue printing, changing rods and pistons, bearings. bigger turbo, intercooler, injectors. I already have 400kw so clearly 1000 is the next step right.

really I noticed the 4 bar on the regulator but thought that was very high for stock fuel pressure as far as I could find most run around 38-40

hi guys I need to find out the stock fuel pressure in the rail of a fg xr6t I removed my old rail and have aftermarket going in but I didnt take a pressure reading before hand so I am unsure what to set the new regulator at any help would be awesome need to get my baby running

running 275 nitto 17 inch for the 12.0 but stock clutch which finally said enough last night lol have done over 30 pass's on it in the 11 months its been in the car

test and tune on the 25th was awesome heaps of fords out there lots of turbos few gs super chargers and gt's had ripper night. ran a 12.016 @119mph P.B poor standard clutch is giving in to the 400kw I feel. bring on e85 2x044 twin entry rail twinplate with Kevlar and an 11 hopefully need more lads to come for a run in November might be the last for the year

Friday was terrible lol seems every time its drag night everything goes wrong. got my nitto's fitted to the new rims I was borrowing a mates rims went to put em on and my wheel nuts don't fit so run around looking for a fix. ended up borrowing mates mickey thompsons. then I ran with 35 psi in tyres wheel tramp galore lol let em down and changed tune to 4000 limiter and cant get it off the line just bogs down immediately. so best was a 12.3 or 12.4 and howd u go getting the chicken welshy
