  1. Just replaced front rotors, pads, and slide pins in my car because of a knocking noise when braking, but.. Still knocks, it stopped for a day after doing it, and now it is back. Braking lightly doesn't make the knock, but medium to hard brakes it sounds horrible almost to embarresed to drive the car, any ideas? My thought was a bent rotor from factory (brake knock knock knock seems to go with the wheel speed) Also while car was jacked I couldn't move wheel side to side or front to back if you get me for the ball joint Any help appreciated thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. oh ok, no it doesn't have a metal case just a solid rubber design, on the instructions for this one it never said to lube it :\ thought about it but didn't, just grease for it obviously? thanks
  3. rang nolathane today and they said it is there "old design" and that it makes a huge whining noise, there new improved design is better and sending me one free of charge, but uhm who cops the cost of changing it again? hrm..
  4. hey guys, replaced my centre diff bush with the nolathane one today, only one they had in stock, and since I have put it in, it is making a horrible whining noise from the rear, not accelerating or taking off, only when slowing down? will this go away, also it still knocks a little now and then. any help would be great thanks.
  5. Yep I blocked up the other end, popo here dont give us any trouble, unless your 17 with a lowered commie p plates and hat backwards, you know how it is, "ya bra I chuk full sik one wheeler skids in me como mang" lol I wouldnt mind chasing up some silcon hosing to make it look clean, ill do that after I buy the rapid systems v2 kit
  6. *double post Also it's not staying the way it is, I'll be running it under the induction hose
  7. Hopefully I have done it right :x, is there any downfalls of using a longer hose for it etc? Also if I don't like this I read you can completely block the bov up :/, has anyone got something that's a good read about bovs wouldn't mind learning more about it. Thanks
  8. Great tut man, looks cool as, never played with fibreglass before though, may have to give it a crack.
  9. Tch tch, moment after I write the post I find it :/, the hose at the back off the crossover you block, the other one you connect the bov too, then extend the smaller hose to the nipple of it correct? Lol
  10. Probably a stupid question, but I couldnt find it, on the crossover replacing the stock bov to an aftermarket on, that does not plumb back, what part of the crossover does the bov plumb back into, the one closest to the firewall, or the one that's at the front. Just so I dont f*ck it up :x Thanks and sorry lol
  11. Wow, just checked out the rapid systems website, prices are cheap as, will be deffiantly going through them. I'll have to have a look around at some threads that involve overboosting then 8-), seems to bethe prob, thanks.
  12. It seems to only happen when the car is warm, and sometimes you dont have to have it full stick, you can just hold the gear and creep up on the revs then its like its struggling for any more power, then change gears (auto), and its like all the torque is thrown into the gearbox and feels like its going to explode... Yeah niko, its kinda the way, its not all the time, some times it wont do it all day, next time its soon as im in to it, puzzeled tbh
  13. Mm bit of a *beep*, but im sure it will end up being fixed. steVe your going to have to give me some websites to start ordering So the box drops out, creates chaos and leaves me fred flintestoning it? lol best idea ever
  14. oh ok :/, so dont order that flash tuner through capa, just get it dynoed, im about 600kms from adelaide, so I have no idea of price or places haha, biggest town closest to me would be Mildura and I dont know if anyone tunes there :/.
  15. In broken hill, the car is completely stock standard, I read another article saying that if you change the bov, something to do with airflow makes the ecu go mental :/ Soon as I get it back from the crash repairs (some drunk guy tboned me) I might get some silicon hose and replace it around the bov, and take it to fords and check error codes. Then when that prob is fixed, I'm thinking of ordering a process west or pwr intercooler and mail order tune. Thanks for replays guys
