Hi Guys, Thought I would post up some pics of my G6E that I detailed over the weekend. The Car is my wife's Daily amd had copped a bit of abuse with all the rain we have had and we live at The Oaks ( near Camden) and with our roads the car was getting a bit neglected. I washed, Clayed, machine Polished and waxed it over 2 days. Used Mothers Clay kit, Menzerna Polishe's x 3 and Dodo Juice Supernatural Wax ( this stuff is amazing ) Here are the pics, first pics are before car was hand waxed, last photo is after hand wax but was dark and pics are taken on a sh*tty IPhone. Hey bud, awesome purchase I love the look of your car, mine is very similar but in white. I am looking at getting the same wheels as well. I got 298rwkw with injectors, Cat, intercooler piping and tune on 98, standard exhaust, intercooler and air box. So you should get your goal pretty easy. Now has 326rwkw with process west cooler and Herrod CAi. Cheers Coop.

So the T stands for Turbo, are you sure. I bought mine thinking the T stood for Tow pack, I only bought mine to tow my box trailer. I feel let down and misled now. Please post pics of these so called "way cool" wheels.

People like Angel that just like taking the piss out of people ruin it for everyone else that just want to discuss their cars, that's why they have such poor turnouts to cruises. When I had my Rx3 I would go to an Ausrotary Forum cruise and 100 cars would turn up not 10 like on here.

Mine has similar Mods mate but standard exhaust and fuel pump. Made 326kw at the wheels tuned by Cv.

Show me 1 example of someone's car being impounded because it flutters ??? And being impounded for that reason only. It's a defect, end of story. And yes you can as demonstrated by most of your posts in this thread.

Exactly, car would have been impounded for doing a burnout ( what they consider a burnout) You won't have your car impounded because it flutters, you might get a defect but that's about it.

Explain how your car fluttering would leed to it being impounded??

As far as the cars above, especially the Octane F6, I am really starting to think your taste is well and truly up your ass, either that or your guide dog is giving you really crappy signals

Lay off the drugs dude what colour do you prefer on white? Chrome or black? Yeah that's never been done in the 90's either. Show me a pic of 1 car with Fr's modern or old school that looks bad...... Fr's make anything look good. End of story. Gold wheels on a white car look hot.

We are not talking about a workshop flogging a customers car around town, the video above of the title mentioned car is the OWNER performing a burnout in his car for a photoshoot. And yes you go to a workshop with a good reputation, so how do they get that rep, through customers cars and their own cars, and to get that rep you need to show what the car can do. And your wrong, not anyone car load in a ping tune and go fast, other wise everyone would do it, try that and more than likely you will go BANG. The workshop where this car is videoed doing a burnout or being thrashed as previously mentioned has one of the best reps and has the numbers on the board, and why would they thrash a customers car when they have their own cars.

Why would a workshop drive sensibly 99% of the time? If a workshop builds a quality car and are confident in their work why not thrash it and show their customers and potential customers how strong their car and build quality is, not much better advertising than that, especially when people go to their shop asking for mods, you think they are only going to drive sensibly? Your kidding right. "Hi, I want to mod my Fg, looking at around 350rwkw" "No worries t all, but you will only be able to drive sensibly, as your car will not be able to be thrashed more than 1% of the time, no burnouts, no drags!" Why would a workshop expect you to do something in your car that they wouldn't do in there's, most cars with big power are not driven everyday, so if it was only thrashed 1% of the time it would go to the drags maybe once every 5 years.

Best way to do it mate, who wants to spend big bucks on tyres that you are going to fry. I like the sound of frying them too just quietly.

You honestly wouldn't think a car with 1000hp had never done a burnout before would you, if that's the case I don't think you would find a modified car that hasn't been thrashed. If you wanted something that you thought wasn't thrashed you would buy a stocka off some old dude.

Sorry mate, that's what I meant, 4k plus the cost of tyres. 4k including tyres would be a massive bargain.
