  1. Hi All, As per the topic the door speaker on the drivers side cuts in and out as if there may be a loose terminal or connection. How easy is it to get the door trim off and have a look? Anyone aware of other issues that may be causing it before I have to do surgery on the car? Regards Nick
  2. I will look into it for sure. So the BA Turbo still only has the 298mm discs? That sucks! I don't really thrash my car much and don't do a lot of heavy braking etc so I am happy to just upgrade to the 298mm slotted rotors and EBC pads. I don't do any track days or anything.
  3. I suppose I'll have to measure my discs? Or is there another way to find out their diameter?
  4. Fantastic thanks will check RH side under carpet near the tail light.
  5. Hi All, I have a space to bolt on the tow bar at the rear of my BA (tow bar is in the boot and came with the car when purchased) as per photo, however there is no fitting it appears for the electrical plug for the trailer lights. Does anyone know where is it or if there is a special fitting I need to buy or install?
  6. Any ideas about what pads are best for everyday driving but have decent performance? Was thinking of going to Bendix Ultimate.
  7. Hi, I just purchased a BA XR6T and want to upgrade to a slightly better brake system. If I go with the Street Series from DBA will I need new calipers or will they fit the new rotors?
  8. Hi, I am a new XR6 Turbo owner. I purchased a BA series with 120,000 k's on the clock. It has standard brakes which are a little sloppy. I was hoping to upgrade the rotors to DBA Street Series (504SL and 504SR) for the front. I don't have a massive budget, around $500 for rotors and pads. Does anybody have a better solution to suit my budget at all? I also hear that Bendix Ultimate pads will be too harsh for the above rotors and probably unnecessary. What would be a better pad with good performance but which will be a little more forgiving? Thanks in advance.
