I dont own a T but is it easy to override the speed limiter on it, or the limiter on my ba xr8 for that matter? and how much?

I just bought a ba xr8 in blueprint and I am new to this forum so excuse my lack of knowledge please. Anyway I was thinking about starting mods to it, but what are some good times to expect from what you guys have achieved so far? PS this is my first decently powered car so I am still quite happy with it even in stock form, but cant wait till I can confidently hose off those pesky rexs and gti-r's.
