    Xr6 Or Xr8

sign him up motor or wheels magazine. if that doesnt convince the guy to buy the t nothing will.
  3. I have checked redbook but that is av km of between 45-70,000kms for 2003 models and mine is a very late 2003 model. thanx for the response xxxr6t
  4. hello everybody. I was just wondering peoples thoughts on what I would be able to get (realisticly) on my t it is a december 2003 model, first registered 2004, blood orange, auto, leather and tint. engine stock. it has about 34,000kms on the clock can anyone tell me both private and trade in? much appreciated
  5. I had a similar experience with a ferrari in sydney. I am not sure of the model but it was the one with the smaller lights at the back that stick out a little bit and it looked brand new. anyway we were driving and he was behind me when I saw a clear lane ahead of me and in typical hero fashion gunned it. to my surprise he was right up my arse so he was also giving it. anyway we went onto a small bridge and up a twisty hill and he was still up my arse. he did have a chance to overtake but did not do it. anyway, it was all good fun and a great story the next day at work.
  6. same here. blood orange all the way.
  7. I will try that (going around a bend). the only thing is this is a clunking sound that I hear in a lot of ford cabs. it is a muffled sound from the back when going over bumps. you k frame may be what is it, but could it be someting else? anyone else know what I am talking about?
  8. hello people. this may have been covered before but I will ask I get a clunking from the the back of the car. it is coming from the rear suspension (I think) but it sounds like a muffled sound from the boot. I have heard this clunking in cabs when going over bumps (the sound is like the spare is clunking around at the back) but I know this is not it. I have an 03 auto t with 34,000 kms and have heard it in plenty of cabs but they have 200,000kms anyone know if this is normal? should I get it checked out? thanx
  9. they are great. thanx for that link and go the xr6t.

    Wog To Sydney

how much do you charge wog and what do you do if I may ask. do I have to buy a capa tuner first and you tune it? thanx.
  12. I am with you faygun. where are these mad t's in sydney? I need to save some money now !!!!!
  13. I use it a lot. it is fun to have it in second and when a punk tries it on you hammer and it instanly responds. it is also good for ascending hilly roads.
  14. yep.... that looks mad. I beleive that I will do this soon. well done champ : )
  15. I have a blood orange xr6t and I have always thought that black wheels would look awesome on it. I may get the original ones black coated when I get some spare $$$. what do you guys think?
  16. yeah let me know how you go. and are you just doing the fronts or both?
  17. da king, I think you may have the same thing as me. it makes a rattling over cat eyes on the road and other cracks. I have taken it to ford and the guy told me that it is the pads rattling in their shims and replaced the shims but it has not fixed it. I am going to try another dealer and see if they can. it is so bloody annoying I need to get rid of it. one way to test is when you go over bumps put your brakes on if there is no rattle it is the dammed pads rattling around. apparantly the performance brakes do not do this and that is why I may have to get them on the fronts
  18. hey faygun I am thinking of doing just my fronts as I have a rattle which is the pads rattling in their shims. I will get the dba rotors , pads and calipers. my question is did you ever get this rattling noise over bumps with the standard brakes. if so I think you would need to change the calipers.
  19. spot on cro. maybe I could just change the pads and calipers as the problem is associated with these parts.
  20. oops I meant the dba rotors and another brand set of pads and shims
  21. wouldnt I need the caliper or shims I think they are called or is the dba set up everything and cro I meant would you need the 17" spare with the dba set up (rotors, pads etc)
  22. you are right I would have to replace the whole lot at the front. the pbr set up needs 17" spare, what about the dba set up.
  23. sh*t that is a little expensive. another question if I get the brake upgrade do I need another spare wheel.
  24. hi all I have had a rattling sound coming from my front pads (pads in their shims) for a while now and ford have a tsb out on it but it does not fix it. it is only on the front brakes and my question is what is the best rotors and pads just for the front. I do not want to spend too much I just want the rattling fixed which the performance brakes do. any ideas or specials on at the moment. thanx
