Ok agreed that for shouldnt have to wear the bill but if there build quallity was of a higher standard, I am yet to find one ford driver that hasnt been back for some waranty issue. And if you havnt that's nice most have had too and when you do it for 10th time with still the same problems or more being caused in the process then you to may look to the edit to solve your problems. And yes you may get more power usally because the car has now been tuned properly for the first time. I still dont have the edit but will soon as it seems to be the only way to get xr6ts going well

ok the code you are talking about can be created in several other ways, this in its self is a hurdle for ford should they decide not to replace something under waranty as it can be proven to be ""possible"" to create the same code from other problems. Yes ford can after reading what codes have been generated and what codes have been stored, but these codes can be generated in many other circumstances hence fi anyone were to dispute it in court they should win. Also the fact that the ecu can only store so many codes before it starts writting over what is allready stored ie not much memory

Well I just got my 30000.00 done at new oak ford and they installed new valve springs as well. I didnt get the special price for the valve spring install but I did get a good price in the end. They did however flash the ECU and I can tell you my ford has never run better. It has more punch and no bog down at 4000 rpm. Overall very happy

Well I have some good news for you. It doent matter if FORDS waranty doesnt cover it they are still liable as damage was caused by there defective product. A call to the ACCC should help things along or your states consumer affairs ought to do the trick. Give them a try should work
