  1. Spewing I couldn't use the frames they came in as the brackets aren't wide enuff to reach the holes, so bought new Kingpin covers and fitted them to the car in them :-) Sent from my HTC One XL using Tapatalk 2
  2. Xcal 3 for sure the too expensive retail Sent from my HTC One XL using Tapatalk 2
  3. I'm in hoppers crossing Sent from my HTC One XL using Tapatalk 2 And as a truck driver it makes getting down there to drop the car off before 5pm impossible Sent from my HTC One XL using Tapatalk 2
  4. That's right, I started the parts substitution because I saw false readings from the map sensor. For the price of a turbosmart actuator and second hand boost solenoid it wasnt hard to just get them and fit them too. As it turns out the boost cutting still happens but not as often per drive cycle which has now pointed me back in the direction of the tune. Who can I take it too that uses hp tuners Sent from my HTC One XL using Tapatalk 2
  5. Ordered 441FPV premium plates yesterday one in slim on standard size. Can't wait to get them Sent from my HTC One XL using Tapatalk 2
  6. @ratter not really expensive spent about about $450 on parts. But now that iv ruled out the mechanical and sensor side of it and its still happening I'm left with a retune as the only possible answer, but why only my car fml and why only when it's friken cold outside :-( Inbox me your location ratter...
  7. It can't be though because as I said hes tuned them many times and never seen this and obviously who ever had it before tuned with the sct couldn't figure it out either. I need a diagnostic tester so I can't drive and see what all the sensors are showing
  8. That's what it was listed as. I'll give ya the part number sus it out I had to chop the plug n fit a new one. Also the engine light has come on again lost boost twice tonight when outside air.temp dropped as usual. Iv noticed with the bov it boosts to 1bar too but when I put the stock one on its back to 13psi 0 281 002 514 it's a Bosch one. Seriously need to sort this thing out. Sho else tunes with vcm im not interested in the SCT had it before n wasn't happy with it. Each to there own. With the bov. Does any one even run aftermarket ones. Or just leave the stock one or block it all off n dw about it???
  9. So after all that it was a faulty map sensor. Changed the wastegate actuator, boost solenoid and bov while I was at it. No more overboost codes thank god Fitted a BF 2 bar MAP sensor
  10. Yea it's a stock actuator I'll give it a go tomorrow
  11. Hmmm, well I just gave the IAT and MAP sensors a clean. I'll get a wastegate actuator for it as I may need it for further future mods anyway and we will see how it goes. One more question for you rattled. Should or shouldnt I be able to open the wastegate flap by moving the rod with my hand?
  12. that's all good mate but it was doing it with the SCT too
  13. Ok then why only my car and not the other BAs BFs and FGs his done??????????????????????????????????????????? The wastegate could be internally faulty. Should you be able to move the rod and open the flap by hand?
  14. thank you Mr_4.0 someone with a decent not so hard reply. it will be on the list of things to do in the coming days :D
  15. id rather spend money on parts rather then throwing away another $1000 or so for someone else to tune it when its been tuned by 4 or 5 different people using VCM suit and SCT and still as the same issue
  16. hears an idea, if any of the sponsor workshops care to step up to the plate and want to have a crack at fixing it if its just the tune then by all means the cars yours. but im not payin for it lol ull just earn yourself the title of the greatest tuner ever in melb?
  17. ^^ I baught the car with the issue. it was previously tuned with SCT SOMEWHERE ELSE now its tuned with VCM suite at a different tuner and the issue still remains after 3 different ppl have had a go at it with the VCM suite software. hence my resons for leaning towards a mechanical issue now
  18. horsepower automotive is tuning it. and like I said hes tuned heaps of them and mines the only one with the issue... it had it before with the SCT tuner and its doing it now with the VCM suit tune as I said also the Guys from VCM suite in Knox Field had played with it for hours and couldnt fix it... so tell me again its the tuner
  19. we did data logging today but it was hot outside and the car was running fine, till this afternoon now that the temp has dropped 10degrees its playing up again. come to think about it the MAP sensor was reading 150kpa lol which worked out to be about 27psi but it was only running on 13 looks like ill be throwing a map sensor in it too :-/
  20. ok so had the car tuned again today, improvement in performance again but no go in fixing the issue with the DTC this guy has tuned HEAPS of BAs BFs n FG turbos and my car is the only one hes had this issue with. to make the problem even more confusing as soon as the out side air temp drops below 20degrees is when it starts boost cutting and throwing this dtc, when ever its over 20degrees out side I can thrash the sh*t out of it non stop and it wont fricken do it!! im convinced its a mechanical issue with either the IAT sensor, Wastegate actuator or the Wastegate solenoid. what do you all think???? :( :( :(
  21. The P1227 DTC that my F6 keeps throwing is pissing me off :-( Sent from my HTC One XL using Tapatalk 2
  22. Hmm I'll get it all sussed out on Saturday going to the tuner Saturday morning and spending the day on it till its right... Any more info is great though as I can pass it all on and check it out Sent from my HTC One XL using Tapatalk 2
