a bit of turbo work lol wat to a 35 40 or have u gone bigger, I dont no how my car can only make 330 with a full motor build and like 18 to 20 pounds of boost its weird, unless the previous owner got it detuned or something, I might need to head down to dynomite to get a power run and have a talk to them, where abouts are they based hey *Beep* are u heading out tonight or u still have no licence

yer raced at winton but they dont hace any times or anything there just race, I was racing my mates vl turbo but because my car was grabbing two gears at once it was taking like forever to spool up and by the time the lights went green I wasnt even on boost at all so it was sh*t as, so then on the second time I just sat there for ages while the lights were green until it finally spooled up and I nearly beat the vl that runs consistant 11.0's but it was still fun, wat did u do to go from 350 to 400, im looking at getting my car retuned just dunno where im gunna go yet

hey man had a few dramers there well one really the shifter adjustment was right up the sh*t so every time I grabbed top gear it was still sort of in first and it overheated the box which cooked the oil and the convertor got sent of too get checked over, I only got through on set of tyres lol, ill pop in this week for a chat mate. oh and howd u go at calder man??

yer I already got a transbreak that's all in the gearbox amd the shafts are very dear around the 4 thousand mark :( but standard ones wont hold up much with transbreak did u get your e 85 tune im thinking of heading down that road by the end of the year too

yer it is a good time but it will be better with some real diff gears and some suspension work its all set up to just cruise so I guess 11.20 isnt too bad at all, amd as for ufo im so hanging to get it to the track im just not gunna take it there until im 100% that the car is performing well there is still a couple little things like spark plugs keep fowling and I want big axels for big transbreaks and stuff like that but nott to far away, well put it this way even when it is playing up I stil put 3 to 4 car lengths on the xr so it will be a very fast pump98 fuel car

yer my dad went to look at the xy last night he said its all comming up a treat and its comming home tomoro then its getting an engine, gearbox, tailshaft and diff rebuild but it wont take long at all, also my brothers persuit on its first pass went 11.60 on 18 inch toyo tyres lol plenty of potential there, the next few runs it fried tyres of the line so it was no good but hes getting small brakes and gunna get 15 inch rims and slicks should be a very fast car

yer just the gt went, the ba is getting some new 1300hp rated drive shafts at the moment so it will be ready for some big trans breaks real soon and xrcism went 11.20 we need to put 4.11's or 4.3's in it the 3.7's are too lazy, and the pics are awesome adam thanks heaps man, u done a real good job

yer me and kane have been good mates for years and hes been begging to do a shoot for ages, come up mint haha yer u can borrow them if u want u just need to have it prity high and cut the rear bar on both side u can see in the pics lol, im gunna get around to a retune soon for pump and c16 then we will see the difference, and im not gunna put a time down that im hoping for cos I dont wanna get disapointed if it doesant perform

I had a set at home and I was blind one night got board and put them on lol, im gunna take them off when I get the bonnet holes filled in just didnt want the holes there for the shoot

yer im gunna be there on friday night too if the weather is good just with 327 kw atw so I think u got it in the bag lol haha na I got a canary ages ago and had the car in vic roads on the friday so I just put standard ones in it and havent changed it back yet

cheers man, I didnt get time to clean the engine bay that's y its a little dirty in there but I think it looks mad with convos, ohh and I put standard springs in it to raise it up to start racing, I cant wait

Ok update finally I have got the convos on the rear finally and am hoping to get out to the track heaps. due to offset problems I could only get a 8 inch rim but got a 28 by 9 inch slick which should do the job, im just worried that they are a bit to tall cos to me it feels a little lazy with them on but we will wait and see. Also the 2 speed powerglide is in the car now, its so different to the 3 speed but feels very strong. My mate done a little photoe shoot on saterday old school new school love this pic

ha yer ive had the ba going for like a week and a half so ive been to bp like twice a day lol

yer I was happy with the time, I think with a couple more runs I would of got a little more out of it cos it was running out of legs near end of track so I could of put the limiter higher and I babied it out off the hole (no convertor at all). Its got 3.7 diff gears which is prity lazy for one of these and koni ajustables, im gunna get 90 /10's will launch heaps better so im sure with slicks and a few more little things I should see a 10 sec pass pritty easy

yer they are tuff old things that's y we built it, how much power does your ba make?? and have u raced it yet?? the other week when we tightened the u bolts up we took the xr to calder went 11.5 then 11.3 the same way I was driving on hwy both nights just full street tyres lol I was so suprised I was hoping for high 11 they only let me do 2 passes cos as u no leak on zaust, it looked like I broke the engine both passes

oh and it was me driving both night to man,

hey man yer XRCISM is mine and my little bros, and yer it is leaking tranny fluid on the zaust lol really annoying its a little over full, man I drove next to u for like the whole of hwy and we were all having bets on weather it was a turbo or not. U would have to be the most tame person I have ever seen drive a high powered car I didnt here the turbo until we got on monash. Did u also notice the fearce axel tramp the car was getting?? every time I stood on it in second gear it would just axel tramp so bad and I had to just try feather it through it then go in top gear but by that time u were right next to me and gone lol very fast car u got there man goes really well Oh and we got the tramp problem sorted now, we put the car on a hoist the next morning and all the u bolts in the diff were finger tight some how, so we tightened them up and all good now I was trying to find u for a bit of round 2 last night

ha yer I was out in XRCISM last night, cant believe how many ba, bf, fg's there were out, UFOPSI will finally be ready this week end comming and ill be comming out for sure

finally got it all done good to see mate. im tryin to way up wat size convertor to go with my glide, it will be between 3000 and 4000, but we got my brothers ute going last night with my 3 speed in it, god it sounds so tuff with a 5000 convertor its going in monday to get retuned with the gas should be interesting well when im running and when we get some good weather we will all have to catch up

He works for whiteseide autos, And also I will clarify something, the gear box has not broke twice since I have owned it, it broke once when inflyt owned it then pro trans rebuilt it then it broke a few months back when I have owned it and my mate rebuilt it, and *Beep* I don't think the tune has too much to do with it breaking cos if it was like that no one would ever get a waranty on a box cos the builder can just say no sorry your tune is sh*t it's not my problem, it comes down to driver abuse and too much power.

I canot recomend how much a c series gearbox is so much fun and a joy to drive but I actually pulled my gearbox out of my car to make way for a power glide cos after the c series breaking 2 times im not prepared to cop another rebuild in a couple of weeks months or how ever long it lasts this time, when we rebuilt the g box we put the best of the best parts in it and the 1000hp input shaft everything I could to strenghthen it up and still my g box builder says hes not sure how long it will last and strongly advised me to put a glide in it. Now as much as it sounds like he is trying to get as much money out of me as he can well that is not true cos he is a very good frind of mine and he does evrything for me for free I went and bought all the parts he did all the labour for nothing, just a couple of slabs and a few late nights and loughs. He told me to sell my c series for 2500 which I did nad he would build me a power glide with a convertor for around that money maybe a couple of extra hundred dollara, that's wi the bellhousing and everything fitted, Even the g tech ba that runs 8's had to go with a glide cos it kept breaking top ghear I heard, it just shows how much these gear box builders really sting us when they build a gear box, hope use guys dont have as many probs with the c series as I have.

Yer I was a little upset with the time but the mph is the thing that puts a smile on my face and is getting me excited to get back out there, as for who is tuning my car well cv's tunes are all still in there but Casey automotive have had a look at them on the dyno'd and think they are very good and I didn't see any point in a retune when the car goes very good the way it is, so Casey have been servicing and maintaining the car

no worries I might start a new 1 and see if I can get a heap of cars to meet up some where and go to the next meet at calder that would be mint

Yer it was def slippery every time I hit top gear it would get heaps of wheel spin and yer that's right as soon as it starts to go good it dies in the ass. I can't wait to get back out there judging by the mph it should go very fast when it hooks up. Good times for the ute I remember seeing it out there

Thanks man, yer it was annoying but like u said it was awesome to be there, it was my first time racing and there is nothing better, um the stally, well I was told when I got the car it was a 2800 but when I got the gear box rebuilt I got the convertor loosened up another 500 or so well might see u at the track then
