ZF Auto... I think it was 184kph, the car felt pretty tight untill I hit second gear & it started drift sideways a little hehehe.

60lb injectors, 20% underdrive, Hyperflow CIA & BMC Panel Filter, NGK Irridium plugs, Centre muffler removed & Custom tune 304.3rwkw's. Total cost $1350 12.8 seconds in the 1/4 mile. First time! BF MKII XR6T 2007 Upgrade model.

Yeah my BF MKII does the same every time I start it since I've had it custom tune & bigger injectors installed but within 10-15 sec it's gone it runs normal.... since I live down the south coast I haven't had a chance to take it back to CV performance to get it checked out, it feels like the timing is out & then after 10-15 sec the computer fixes it that's my opinion anyway

Yeah I've got this 7ft sercuity guard at work & he use too bag me all the F@cking time about my XR6T,he drives a VT SS 5.7lt & of late my come backs are "Put your money were your mouth is" or come bud lets race for pink slips! he doesn't say to much after that cause his got no BALLS otherwise he would lol....

I've been quoted around the $700 mark plus $300 for labour EG: taking the Turbo off & reinstalling it & was told they needed the car for a day or two... & as said early you will need a new Tune which is anywhere from $500-$1000

Its probably redlining by the sound of it revving it to high, I've had this happen to me when I leave in 1st or 2nd gear to long it redlines & starts to back firer or the traction control is on & the light flashes on the cluster.....

Bensxr6t would your system be better then the x- force 4" dump, 3.5" cat & into twin 2 1/2" merger pipes?

Just had my redback Quads fitted to my XR6T today & I have to say how quite it is now.... It has a nice mild note without drawing to much attention no drowning what so ever a very good catback exhaust system for low 300-390rwkw's I couldn 't be happier, next will be an X-force 4" dump into a 3.5" Cat & twin 2 1/2" collector.

Benxr6T how much did it cost to get the collector & 3.5" mandrel bend part made up? & who did it for you? Cheers

I've heard of people getting anywhere from 338rwkw's plus with standard exhaust which is only 2 1/4" & using a Hiflow cat, while these redback Quad exhaust systems are 2 1/2" so you would think they would have to be good for atleast 360-380rwkw's with a Hiflow cat wouldn't they? As I don't really want 400 rwkw's with standard Turbo as I've heard the standard turbo are at there limits around 380-400 rwkw's, PS: How many rwkw's is you car pulling? Thanks for your replys guys.

Hi guys just wondering if anyone has used the redback 2 1/2" Quads on there XR6T, it starts off with 2 1/2" twin pipes & tappers off each side of the car & has 4 X 2 1/2" tips,wondering what sort of power this system would be good for?

Yeah mines a EX cop car & does the same thing plus the boot light would come on & beep at me saying the boot is open but it wasn't so took it to Ford this morning & they said the wire was around the wrong way in the boot & they fixed the interior light so it works properly now BUT $75 later.... as it wasn't covered under warranty

Just got back from my motor mechanic this morning & he said when he fitted the turbo oil line he flush the coolant as well & some of the coolant got caught behind the heat shields which was causing all the smoke & smell, thank god it was just that & nothing major, I can't tell you the size hose but ETM sells these if you ask he should be able to tell you the size. Cheers

Hi guys just had a Earls filter & oil turbo line fitted to my BF XR6T & notice after a 5-10 minute run that smoke is coming out from under the bonnet so opened it up & notice the smoke is coming from down near dump pipe & cat, it doesn't smell like motor oil BUT a rubber burning smell has anyone had this problem, I'm taking it back to my mechanic tomorrow to get him to check it out, Not bloody happy as it didn't have this problem before any help would be appreciate. No not as yet Buzz I'm tosing up between the redback quads now... looks like a better free flowing system compare to the Xforce Quads.

No problems with the aircon & power steering etc with the underdrive but have been told that to get rid of it if I want to see 350rwkw's so I will sell it on eBay & buy an Atomic balancer soon.

Hi guys I've been looking at the X-Force Quad exhaust system which has a twin 2.5" system with 3" Dual rear exhaust tips,was thinking about mating it up to an X-Force 3.5" to an 2.5" Twin an 4" cat & a bigbore warehouses 4" Dump pipe, just wondering how this would flow compare to the other exhaust systems mention eg: 3.5" or twin 2.5".

I purchased an Ex Cowra HWY patrol car it's a 2007 model BF XR6T MKII in Bionic blue with all the premo options, the only marks the car had on it was were the camera was fitted to the front window & on the roof were the lights were other then that its just like a brand new car still with warranty to 2010, like others have said there are some good ones & some that you wouldn't even put your dog in....

I had my 2007 BF MKII XR6T running 300rwkw's for 6 months with a generic tune on standard injectors....now I'm running a safe custom tune pulling 304.3rwkw's on 60lb Deka's & still using standard fuel pump!
