Turning 23 this year and just got myself a BF XR6T. I've been jumping from jobs to jobs alot since I left school, trying to find one that I really felt comfortable in (surveying, panel beating, network programmer, photography). Now I am doing a plumbing apprenticeship, saving for a house and paying off the car. Getting myself into debt for 20k+ probably wasn't a good idea but I won't be parting with this car for a good 5-6 years minimum (future family car) and I was spending too much money on my old 180sx anyway! Hopefully have over 60k saved up with my missus by this time 2011, already starting weekend work driving machinery which is paying excellent - so I'm hoping to bring in 65k+ this year! A lot of people on here seem to be doing very well, at such a young age as well! I wish I was, but at the end of it all. If your happy, that's all that matter right?
  2. I've just decided to start my plumbing apprenticeship this year and I will be turning 23. It feels like I am a step behind everyone else starting so late but it will pay off in the end, I've been plumbing for a year as a labourer and enjoyed it - it's not just sticking your hands in sh*t! And no matter what, everyone will need a plumber!
  3. I was tossing up whether to do that or not...I should have done both to compare anyway, will probably come up with another design with those things changed. Nah, its the one off the BA Very true, but I got another week till I am back at work and was bored so I thought why not! Can't hurt! XR6 red seems to be the go, matches the engine cover aswell anyway. Thanks for everyones replies, much appreciated. I'll keep you all updated!
  4. I have recently purchased myself a 2006 BF XR6T, Silhouette with Leather, Premium Sound, ZF 6 speed auto and Factory 18's...! Anyway, apart from being extremely happy with my car, I have decided to make a sticker that goes onto the airbox much like the F6 ones. See the pic below, this is one I have currently made up with the dimensions off the airbox. It obviously doesn't have any colour yet, still deciding on how to colour it! I want peoples opinions on whether they like it, what they think needs changing and what colours should be used! Still trying to source a place that could do it onto aluminum or something but will see how long a sticker lasts anyway (probably not long at all!). If I can get them printed onto aluminum I might do a couple and sell a few, if anyone knows a place that can do this - PM me!!! Down the track, I was thinking if I get my car tuned I can get another one printed and have for example "Barra 294T".
  5. Went from Nissan 180sx Type X to a BF XR6T...definitly a smoother ride!!
