Thanks FSX, I though it was just due to the shaft becoming more horizontal and putting more load on center bearing. I got 25mm spacers off ebay, they say they will fit ford hub the hub diamater is wrong. ford hub is around the 70mm mark I think, most spacers are 67mm. Mates dads got 30mm's on his F6 and fitment is nice, not noticable just looks clean cause stock offset is horrible!

My mates took afew pics of car last night, here's afew to share. Will be lowering it next week and getting new wheel spacers aswell cause the justjap ones I got had wrong hub diamater! Should I be worried about any driveshaft issues when I lower it?

got nulon 80w140, manual says to run 1.8L in diff plus the 0.1L of ford addative with the nulon already has. just put the full 1.9L of nulon in then obviously?

Ended up getting penrite SIN 15w50 engine oil and using royal purple for diff. What oil filter do the FG F6's use?

Had a search and everyone says to run 10w50. royal purple only comes in 10w40 or 20w50. will that be alright or should I just go for another brand with 10w50?

I've read the how to on diff oil but am wondering what everyone uses and recommends for engine and diff oils. Looking at using "Royal Purple" oils as only heard good things about it. car is a 09 FG F6 ute with 39,000km. not worried about prices really as I don't do that many KM's and you pay for what you get!

I just got 25mm spacers for back on my F6 as I want to keep those wheels on my car but the offset at back is horrible. Bought some off justjap and the hub diamater is 67mm and is to small for my hub on car. fail! Anyone know where a can get the correct bolt on spacers to fit?

just ordered some 25mm rear wheel spacers and all new front lights globes today for it, looking into lowering it when I get my tax back. gonna go with bilstein shocks. Has anyone had driveshaft issues in the utes when lowered?

hah yeh thanks mate, already been in a WRX that rolled at 100km/h seen how bad things can go. gotta keep them rubber side down! got my mates WRX with 240kw at wheels at mine at moment so been driving that, keeps me away from my toy.

finally after saving for ever and looking found a F6 ute I liked and ended up getting the FG in the end! it's a 2009 fully optioned with 38,000km. still got 4 months till I get my full license and can drive it so its gonna be a long wait! getting a custom exhaust made up from turbo back and tune to start with. should it be 3.5" or 4" turbo back? Is there any more on the rear CV blowing out aswell when there lowered cause would like to do that aswell.

went out and tested fg f6 today! should be picking up next week!!

thanks for all the comments, I'm still set on a F6! I love them! As for a house that will be in afew years once I save some more then sell my car to throw money towards one. Just car insurance are going to cover me even though I am still on my green P's so I'm looking at buying one anytime soon. Insurance is the same amount for a 07 BF F6, any XR6T, FG F6, WRX and STI. so theres no trade offs there. I need a ute for motorbikes and bicycles, otherwise I'd probally just go for a 4WD like a 07 STI or evo 9.

Thanks for all the posts, I'll be wanting to take it to the track that's why I'm keen on big brakes. I'll be buying the car outright no finance or loan. Have to look into insurance but that's weird if a fpv is alot more than stanard xr6t because when I was looking at WRX's insuring a STI was cheaper... probally due to the amount of habibs that drive them. I'm mainly after a solid base car to start with so tens of thousands dont have to go into it otherwise I'll get carried away! I've been getting told a BF mkii tornado is the way to go and leaning more towards that now if FG F6's dont come down in price at end of year.

So here's my situation, I sold my XR6 ute as had a too good offer to pass up. mean while I've just been saving my money and have a supermotard and postie motorbike as transport. I get my full license in 6 months therefor being allowed to drive a turbo in NSW as I'm only 19. I'm only really looking at FG's as I don't want another BF shape. I've driven a new FG F6 and love it, but 2nd hand ones I'm looking from $47,000 - $52,000. There are afew XR6T's same year and around same km's for $27,000 - $33,000. What I want to know is 20g worth the extra for the F6? I know there got brembo's and more potential but 20g! Whats are your guys expierence with both cars and words of wisdom? cheers Tom!

I've been searching them on car sales for afew months now and all fg f6's range from 50-56 with under 10,000km on them. these are all manual utes aswell. How did you get a new one for 54 hiro!?

looking at buying some new wheels, kinforest are the tyres that are coming on them. never heard of them has anyone had any experience with them?

need a new clutch for my ba xr6 na, what options do I have and what would you recommend? been qouted 1200-1700, anyone know any good places northern beaches area in sydney?

yeh I was worried they will hit my spring or guard. Cant find any decent 19's or 20's in 8" width with 36+ offset. you have lenso's on your ute don't you sickd? how go 30's go on the front? what do 35's hit?

looking at some new wheels and was leaning more towards some 19X8 35+ offset but have seen some nice 20's around that are not to expensive. Most of them are 20X8.5 with 35+ I could imagine. Would I have any problems with scrubbing with 8.5's? tyres will be 35's. my ute is lowered to bumstops at rear and sitting even at the front. Also is there much power loss/weight difference between OEM ford 19's and after market 20's
