yeh im a lil worried about some idiot flogging it as there was a nice fresh set of marks out the back of their workshop.. I understand the system may be down but as "tab" stated the car is programmed to the key not the other way around

Ive got a BF Mk II XR6 which has just gone in for its 60k service on monday.. I had asked for a spare key to be cut aswell.. Now when I went to pick my vehicle up, I was told that it was not ready due to the ford system going down & because of this they were not able to program my new key.. when I asked if I could just pick my key up later, they told me that the car would start, however would instantly stall.. Now to me, this sounds as if they are pulling my chain & have f*cked something entirely different with the car.. If anyone has any information regarding this area, please fill me in cause I have been without my car for 4 days & it is becoming annoying.. Thanks!
