mate wish you all the best.I went through a hard time this time last year,all I,m going to say is you can only control yourself,what you think is right for you may not be right for them, no one makes you feel what you feel, only you make yourself feel what you feel. What you make of a sitution doesn't really matter ,If you want to help this person listen and let them do as they please,if I was in that postion I would like my friends to stand by me and allow me to do as I please what ever that may be, wrong or right. put a question mark next to my name,when I get back from QLD car is booked in at ford for oil leaks then off to the panel beaters to repair front and rear bars and tail light.Who knows when I will be driving it again.Cheers Nick

this morning took the oil to my mates workshop and strained the oil using ladies stocking,found yellowish pits of plastic almost like sand granules.Lucky that they are large enough for the filter to catch.(no metal)I don't know these engines but my guess its some sort of plastic coating on a chain guide,anywhere else it may be coming from?Found 20-30 of them in the oil.Cheers Nick

was at my second home yesterday the ford dealer and saw a territory with left hand front damage(ride height really low),asked the dealer did it burst the brake hose,he said no dropped a ball joint.So the conversation about brake hoses came up and he told me ford is recalling ba-bf falcons and replacing rubber brake hoses.I didn't think anyone has mentioned it on the forum before(had a quick look),so ring your ford dealers and find out whats going on as my dealers word is a wasted breathe.Cheers Nick

I have calmed down a little now ,when the sump comes off it will tell the story of whats going on.If there is anything to be happy about I was going to take it to my brother for some work later this month by finding the sh*t in my engine it saved my new car warranty.When I get back from qld the first thing I'm going to do is open the oil filter and see what I find.Cheers Nick

mine did the same very hot day climbing a hill no oil on road felt like it had a flat tyre ,the traction control light was flashing.Wobbled around ,spun me out has never done it again.Cheers Nick

so I thought I would take it to ford and show them, they dropped the oil, changed the filter and asked them to open the filter up.So dick head cuts it with a hack saw, filter internals covered in metal,It,s hard to tell thought I saw some small pieces of copper,small pieces are alloy not from cutting the filter as the magnet wont pick them up.Have taken the oil home will check it when it cools down.Ford gave me some good news I have an engine oil sump leak so it needs to be removed,gives me a good chance to see whats in the bottom of the sump.Diffs leaking as well,My car is the biggest piece of sh*t put on 4 wheels,its going to get nasty with ford I can feel it.I'm not a bad bloke but there getting me close to loosing it,and fark they don't know what there in for.I have kept a log with all the problems and I wont just roll away.So all I hope for is to get to qld and back in my car,so I will relax enjoy my time up there and get ready for war when I return.Cheers Nick
