  1. Happy Birthday bs888!

  2. I lost 21 Kilo's in 2 months!! From 80 down to 59!!!! Am trying to put some back on as I am only 176cm tall! Don't recommend the method though as I also lost my kids and marriage!! NO!! it wasn't anything stupid other than deciding that 24 yrs and 4mths was all I could take! I have since hooked up with an absolute Angel so other than the kids and The CSA all is good! Good luck with your endevours People!
  3. Also if you lock the rear windows with the switch on the drivers door the rear ones won't light up.
  4. Have had German ones on mine (19's) for over 7k now of mainly h/way driving and couldn't be happier, much better than the Kumho's(sp) they replaced.
  5. I just went to John Mcgrath Ford at Woden to pick up the latest addition to my Fleet and sitting out the front was an XR6T in Fantasy, I thought it would be a bit too much for me but I really liked it, It looked stunning from all angles whether the sun was on it or not. Just my opinion but I would happily have it on my next XR. Cheers, Bazza.
  6. Don't I own your old BA XT? Acid Rush, 19's, Herrod's gear... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes you do!! How's the car going?
  7. I have them on my Black beast and just love them! Unfortunatly mine are MK1 so I didn't have the choice of colours. they would look great on your Ute, GO FOR IT MATE!!!!
  8. Nice car Mate! The only thing wrong with the P38 was the initial build quality!!! Other than that they were an awesome car! By the time Leyland folded they had fixed most of the issues, but I guess it was just a little to late. That Force 7 that was there today really brought back some memorys!!!!
  9. Yeh! That was a lot harder hit than what the damage shows!! I suppose these old classics are a bit stronger than the stuff we drive!! Did you see the damage on the Toranas that were left at the scrutineering bay?
  10. Who told you I was going??????????? No secrets in this town!!!!!!!!!! Despite the rain it was worth the trip though! There were a lot of awfully nice cars up there on and off the track, some of these guys have an amazing amount of car control! Just like me trying to get out of the car park
  11. Havn't had mine near a dyno! but who cares! I'm happy with the look and sound. Only problem was I had to lose the towbar, but that will be modified shortly and re-fitted.
  12. Mate!!! I'd like to buy you a Beer or whatever one day! You took the words right out of my mouth! ( with apologies to Meatloaf)
  13. $233 in Braddon a few weeks ago including a 4 wheel alignment and balance. I've had nothing but top service from them, but I have been going there for years with my own cars as well as the Fleet cars I look after. PS: Cro is pretty much on the money!!!!!!
  14. Give em Hell Nick!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go you mighty T'sss
  15. I use Motorpass! Get whatever fuel I want when I want and as it's after Tax I don't pay any bloody FBT!! WIN WIN as far as I'm concerned!!!!!
  16. The skirt has to be cut, But when done properly it looks factory.
  17. Sorry link is: Travel Planner <{POST_SNAPBACK}> that's a handy tool!! Thanks mate
  18. Looking at the road reports I may have to find another way of getting there with all the road closures due to flooding!! Plus 19's and pot holes don't go together very well!!!!
  19. Thanks Guys, I will have a closer look at distances etc but what I will probably end up doing is going up the Newell and coming back via the Pacific. I will keep records of time and distance traveled from the trip computer and I suppose we will then have some idea. The biggest problem at the moment seems to be all of the flood warnings that are appearing on the weather report sites!!! I am starting to think that we may have to try the New England route as a last resort!! My Sis did the Newell last week and said that it was very rough!!! 19"s!!! and Herrod suspension is not very compatible with those conditions especially as we will be doing it non stop! ( except for fuel and coffee) Thanks to all for the advice. Cheers, Bazza.
  20. Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has an opinion on what is the quickest way from Canberra to the GC, I drive to Rockhampton via the Newell to Goondiwindi and then continue up through Miles, Moonie etc every year but this trip I am only going to the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. SWMBO is nagging me to travel up the Pacific Hwy for a change but being School Holidays that road will be full of Caravans and tourists whereas the Newell mainly has trucks. (I know which one I would rather share the road with) We are leaving for QLD at 3am on the 4th of July and heading home on the 14th, So if you Banana Benders see the black beast cruising around give me a wave. Thanks, Bazza.
  21. Very nice!! Well done. Makes me wish I had gone for that wheel instead of the quad exhaust. Bazza

    Hp Rims

Same size front and rear!!! 9.5's fitted with 245/35x19!! Not a smart move by yours truly!!! Looks nice and neat and is very precise on the tight stuff but not good when it comes to Kerbs and Gutters!!!!!! @#$%^& (only with the Boss is driving of course) Bazza.
  24. bs888

    Hp Rims

OK! If I must!! The first one is to try and show how much room is left with 9.5's on the rear, some silly bugger only put 245's on them and I have problems with the rim protruding slightly past the tyre!! (= one damaged rim) will definatley go for 275's when these wear out. Cheers, Bazza.
