hey guys im new, I have a BA xr6T, with a nizpro stage 1 kit it has 280rwkw, thursday night I blew the gear box up, was accelerating in 2nd gear from about 2000rpm around 3000rpm the road was a little uneven and the back end did feel asthough it lifted up a little bit, all of a sudden I lost drive and there was this horrible grinding noise in the gear box, from what I have read these seem to be prone? to breaking..it does have 19x10's on the rear, could having the wider tyres have helped this break? as skinner may have spun? im wanting to get a T56 from what I have read these seem to be the go, since ive had it ive already replaced the clutch (as this was slipping in 4th and 5th) with a spec clutch that should handle up to 350rwkw I think it was, in the near future im wanting to have around the 350rwkw is there anything else I should be looking at/ getting whilst its off the road? any help appreciated! cheers
