I have finally got some pics for you guys. I know it's late but you know what they say....it's better late than never! One from the front:

I just got invited to the Queensland Ford MOTOR Drive day but I can't go because you need to have your Open license. I'm still on my P's. Just if it was in 3 months. Damn!!!

All I can say is that the car is absolutely awesome. To say that I was 100% happy with it is a massive understatement! It is just that good. :D I know that I promised you guys some more pictures, but I couldn't stop driving it for long enough to take any! Sorry. I will hopefully be taking plenty of pics this weekend....that is if I can stop my self driving it. :lol:

I just got word. I get to pick it up at 3:00pm. Can anyone speed up the time? :D

Got a phone call from the dealer this morning to say that the car will be ready for pickup tomorrow afternoon (9/5/2003). I ordered my car on Feburary 18, so delivery was close to 3 months...but well worth the wait. Options that I got are: Blueprint XR6T, SSS, 18" Wheels, Sports Steering Wheel, Premium Brakes, Side Air Bags, Premium Sound, MOMO Gear Knob, XR Mats and Scuff Plates. I went up to the dealer at lunch and took a few pics. Will take some more once I get it home! Front Left:

Well done. Mine gets built on the 10th of April. I can't wait either!

That would seem logical if you ask me. I would say mine would probably end up being early May or at the best late April.

I ordered my car about a week ago from Metro Ford in Brisbane. I got a call yesterday to say that the car will be an April Production. The dealer said that cars will be assigned to orders at the end of March (Don't know if that's true) and he will call me on the 28th of March to let me know of a delivery date.

A car broker is someone who finds the best deal possible. The best thing is you don't have to pay him. He takes his commission from the dealer.

I went through a car broker. When I went shopping around for prices, I couldn't even come close to what he was being quoted. Just a thought.

I managed to sell my existing AUII S yesterday, so the first thing I did this morning is to get my car ordered. :D The options that I got are: Blueprint, Auto, 18" Wheels, Sports Steering Wheel, Premium Brakes, Side Air Bags, Premium Sound, Momo Gear Knob, XR Mats and scuff plates. I should get some idea of when I will take delivery at the end of the week but the way that you guys have been talking about it, I'm sure that it's going to be far to long. :(
